The Regional Controller RFN North America is responsible for ensuring financial transparency and steering of the Refinish business in North America. He/she analyzes the P&L against prior year, forecast and plan, and prepares key management reports. This role supports the monthly forecasting and annual planning process and runs P&L simulations to support business decisions. He/she also is responsible for the monthly customer rebate reconciliation and rebate accrual calculations. In addition, the incumbent supports strategic projects and drives the automation of the reporting landscape. Through this work, he/she plays a key role in providing business management with accurate, timely and decision-ready financial information. As a Regional Controller RFN North America, you will... P&L analysis, reporting & simulations Analyze the P&L versus prior year, forecast and plan and provide clear, actionable comments Perform PVX (price / volume / mix) and Quality-of-Earnings analysis Preparation of various reports (e.g., Segment Report) Run P&L simulations to support business decisions and steering Support monthly forecasting and annual planning process Rebates – reconciliation, adjustments & audit Perform monthly rebate reconciliation and calculate monthly rebate accruals Provide audit support for rebate transactions (more than $100 million per year) Support strategic projects Preparation of Non-Trade Billings Drive the automation of the reporting landscape If you have... Education and Working Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or a related discipline is required (Master’s degree is preferable) At least 5 years of progressive experience in Controlling, financial planning & analysis, or accounting is required Hands-on experience with P&L analysis and reporting is required Additional requirements: Strong knowledge of SAP (CCS module optional) and advanced Microsoft Excel; experience with reporting-automation tools (e.g. Power BI) an advantage Solid understanding of P&L structure and account reconciliations Business-fluent English required Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, commitment to data integrity and ability to meet deadlines Business-analysis capability and good communication skills; ability to translate complex data into decision-ready insights Self-driven, proactive personality with a high level of service orientation Privacy statement Surventis takes security & data privacy very seriously.
