This position reports to: Assistant General Manager __ Your role and responsibilities The Senior Supervisor leads safe, efficient, and customer focus operations for an assigned shift or functional area. This role coordinates daily workflow, directs frontline leaders and hourly associates, manages labor and operating priorities, and ensures that product is received, stored, picked and packed and shipped accurately and on time. The Senior Supervisor also serves as a key escalation point, uses performance data to address gaps, and partners across functions to improve service, cost, quality, inventory accuracy, and employee engagement. The work model for the role is: Onsite This role is contributing to the {Byhalia Distribution Center) in {ELIP US LATAM}. You will be mainly accountable for: Lead daily operations for assigned inbound, outbound, inventory control, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, or value-added service activities. Direct and coach supervisors, team leads, and associates; establish clear expectations, provide timely feedback, and reinforce accountability for results and behaviors. Monitor safety, service, productivity, quality, cost, inventory, and attendance metrics throughout the shift; take timely corrective action when performance is off plan. Conduct shift start-up meetings, operational reviews, and handoffs that communicate safety priorities, workload, staffing, risks, and required actions. Ensure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, quality requirements, security controls, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Promote a strong safety culture by completing observations, addressing hazards, supporting incident investigations, and ensuring corrective actions are completed. Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives that simplify work, reduce waste, improve throughput, control overtime, and strengthen the employee and customer experience. Support system, equipment, process, layout, and network changes; communicate the business rationale, assess readiness, and reinforce adoption. Develop bench strength through cross-training, succession planning, talent reviews, and development plans for supervisors and emerging leaders. Serve as the senior operational leader on the assigned shift when designated and coordinate response to urgent safety, staffing, equipment, system, or service issues. Prepare and present concise performance updates, root-cause findings, recovery plans, and improvement recommendations to site leadership. Required Qualifications: Eight or more years of progressive experience in distribution, fulfillment, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or a related operations environment. Three or more years of experience leading employees in a high-volume operation, including responsibility for staffing, performance, safety, and results. Ability to work second shift (4:00 PM - 12:30 AM or 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM). Demonstrated ability to lead through frontline supervisors or team leads and coordinate work across multiple operational functions. Working knowledge of warehouse management systems, labor or productivity reporting, inventory controls, and standard office applications. Strong communication skills (oral and written). Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, operations management, or a related field. Experience in a multi-shift, high-volume, automated, or regulated distribution environment. Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, or structured problem-solving methods. Experience supporting change initiatives, start-ups, expansions, system implementations, or process redesign. Training or certification in occupational safety, powered industrial trucks, quality, or logistics operations. Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
