Plan and schedule all process and facility maintenance work while demonstrating the importance of “Doing it Safely, Doing it Right, the First Time”. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Planner will be responsible for maintaining a robust, audit ready Planning and Scheduling Program for ALAM’s Fremont facility. This position’s responsibility includes ensuring that all documentation associated with equipment/instrument planned and unplanned intervention is captured and stored, throughout its entire life cycle from installation through decommissioning with strict adherence to applicable written procedures. The Planner will maintain the traceability and accuracy of all activities utilizing ALAM’s CMMS. The Planner will build and maintain strong relationships and ensure that our value-added services are executed and properly documented in a timely, efficient and compliant way with focus on stakeholder satisfaction. Air Liquide is hiring for a Maintenance Planner in Fremont, CA! We are looking for you! Salary range: $90k - $120k annually Annual Bonus: 6% Work schedule: Monday - Friday, regular business hours Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Follow maintenance work management best practices by:Review all new work requests, generate work orders, designate priority, and provide initial estimates for backlog determination. Apply technical and maintenance experience to identify the scope and plan for maintenance activities given available resources, criticality of work, and available maintenance windows. Plan each work order to the appropriate level of detail to allow the safe and efficient execution of the work. Generate a weekly schedule utilizing 100% of the available man-hours by assigning resources to prioritized work. Facilitate a weekly schedule meeting and communicate the schedule to all plant stakeholders the week prior. Update the schedule generating weekly PM Compliance and Schedule compliance metrics Manage work order backlog with a target of 2 - 4 weeks of ready backlog Facilitate shutdowns activities by the following:Coordinate shutdown dates and durations with production planning well in advance to minimize customer impact. Generate a critical path shutdown schedule to coordinate and communicate all plant activities during the outage. Initiate and facilitate shutdown coordination meetings with all plant stakeholders Update the baseline shutdown schedule with actual dates to continuously improve for future shutdowns Kit and label all parts prior to shutdown Facilitate a shutdown critique following each event Partners with MRO to establish safety stock levels based on expected plant usage Continuously updates PMs to reflect the current maintenance strategy and the associated detailed tasks Creates PM forecasts and communicate with end users to effectively schedule required maintenance activities while minimizing impact to operations Provides factual data required for and the reporting of maintenance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Quality System metrics Obtains quotations, submission of purchase requisitions for goods and services related to facility and maintenance activities. Communicate and coordinate all maintenance and facility contractor activities. Review and approve documentation to ensure accurate, concise documentation is submitted which meets all requirements and internal SOP's Form partnerships with all internal customers and maintain alignment on shared strategies and goals Participate in pre-project planning/scheduling meetings to understand maintenance requirements for new assets Work with Reliability engineers to help shift Maintenance culture from, efficient component replacement towards maximizing __________________Are you a MATCH? Required qualifications: High School diploma or GED with more than 5 years of Maintenance experience or Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience Strong spoken and written communication, internal & external customer service, and organizational skills. Excellent working knowledge of Google Office Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides).
