The Group reported 2025 global revenues of €22.5 billion. About the role You will collaborate with other UX designers, contributing to initiatives aligned with evolving team priorities. This role requires being comfortable managing multiple workstreams and working across different products, user groups, and problem areas as priorities shift. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role. On any given week you might be planning a discovery study, running usability tests, designing screens in Figma, or presenting findings to various stakeholders. We are looking for someone who can work across the full design process, from understanding the problem to shipping the solution. Responsibilities User Research & Discovery Plan and conduct discovery research to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points faced by public officers across agencies. Design and run usability testing sessions to validate concepts and iterate on designs. Plan and facilitate surveys, workshops, and other participatory research methods to gather insights at scale. Synthesise research findings into actionable insights and communicate them clearly to product and engineering teams. UX & UI Design Design end-to-end user experiences, covering information architecture, user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI. Design interactions that are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with both user needs and business objectives. Contribute to and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across products. Balance user needs, technical constraints, and policy requirements when making design decisions. Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration Present design work and research findings to a range of stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, and senior government leaders. Translate complex requirements and feedback into a clear design direction. Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure designs are feasible and well-implemented. Prototyping Build interactive prototypes to communicate design intent, using Figma prototypes. Effective use of components and design system libraries within prototypes to ensure consistency and efficiency. Requirements 3 to 5 years of product design experience with a portfolio that demonstrates strong user research skills alongside polished UX and UI work. Research expertise. You know how to plan studies, choose the right methods, facilitate sessions, and turn findings into design decisions. Strong UI and interaction design skills. You can take a concept from rough wireframes through to pixel-level, production-ready designs. Comfort with ambiguity and context switching. You can move between different products and problem spaces, and ramp up quickly. Clear communication skills. You can articulate design rationale to technical and non-technical audiences, and hold your own in conversations with senior stakeholders. User-centric mindset with pragmatism. You advocate for the user while understanding business goals, technical feasibility, and organisational constraints. Proficiency in Figma and FigJam as core design and collaboration tools. Familiarity with accessibility best practices (WCAG) and responsible AI design principles. Nice to have Experience with frontend development (e.g., HTML/CSS, React). Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools (vibe coding) for rapid prototyping and idea validation. Motion graphics and visual/graphic design skills (e.g., After Effects, Lottie), including the ability to produce animations and micro-interactions that enhance product experiences.
