See yourself at Twilio Join the team as Twilio’s next Software Engineer, Twilio Flex. About the job This position is needed to help Twilo develop and deliver new capabilities in the Twilio Flex platform. You will be a member of a scrum team who will design, implement, own and operate their microservices end to end in the cloud. You will play a key role in setting up and building out the Flex engineering capacity and capability in the Bengaluru office and build a center of excellence for Flex business unit. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to influence roadmap priorities, propose innovative solutions that will enable Twilio to achieve its goal of being the world’s most trusted customer engagement platform. Responsibilities In this role, you’ll: Build and maintain highly scalable, distributed systems with a strong focus on reliability and performance Design, develop, test, and deploy Flex platform services on AWS, following microservices architecture principles Own your services end-to-end, respond to incidents, participate in on-call rotation, and drive RCAs Write automated unit and integration tests; contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling Refactor and reduce technical debt; uphold engineering standards across code reviews and design discussions Collaborate with product and engineering peers to influence roadmap priorities and propose architectural solutions Document systems and contribute to runbooks, design docs, and operational playbooks Rapidly acquire new skills in a fast-paced environment with evolving infrastructure and business requirements Qualifications Twilio values diverse experiences from all kinds of industries, and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply.
