We are developing and supporting Ground Support Systems (GSS) for our flying platform A400M in Manching/Germany. Our GSS products comprise the preparation and evaluation of aircraft mission data, provide interfaces to the airborne systems and support the analysis of the mission execution. The key challenge includes the execution of all operational requirements of our diverse customer base while considering the technical capabilities and constraints of our aircrafts. Your tasks and responsibilities Lead of system engineering activities in the assigned projects Define future product developments Planning and co-ordination of a development project within the department Take over responsibility for the assigned project tasks and manage the agreed scope, time, cost and quality requirements Manage project priorities in cooperation with Project Management Organization Focus on Customer satisfaction and ensure full compliance with valid rules and regulations Lead analysis (Analysis of characteristics and performance) to translate customer requirements, avionics systems requirements into system specifications. Planning, coordinating and performing technical reviews according to Airbus processes and provide regular status reports Support the development of other system engineers within the team Desired skills and qualifications University Engineering Degree or Master in Information Technology, Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent Extensive experience as Technical Project Manager and/or System Lead Engineer Profound knowledge in developing avionics and/or mission support software Good knowledge of Airbus development processes and/or development standards Experience with product lines and modular architectures HW/SW Design,Windows Client/Server, IT Security Hardening, IT Infrastructure Negotiation level in English is a must, good knowledge of German, Spanish or French would be a plus Operational background is a plus Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
