Then we might have the right position for you. Apply now and join a growing team, working in an international environment. Your new role As Dose Surveillance Advisor, you will help make sure people taking part in global clinical trials receive the dose their protocol prescribes. You will spot differences between prescribed and expected doses early, follow them up with trial teams and sites, and keep records inspection-ready. As this function evolves, you will also help shape how dose surveillance works. Your work protects patient safety and data quality, so trials deliver evidence that people living with serious chronic diseases can rely on. Your day-to-day tasks will include: You will keep a clear, data-driven view of dose compliance across your assigned trial sites and make sure issues are resolved quickly and traceably. Oversee compliance with prescribed dose status across assigned trial sites, working with Clinical Medical Managers, Retention Specialists and Medical Advisors. Run routine and ad-hoc dose surveillance reviews in line with protocol requirements, proactively identifying differences between prescribed and expected doses. Drive clear, traceable follow-up with stakeholders and support sites through clear communication, data insights and timely escalation. Work with Trial Managers on dose- and retention-related matters, contributing to site performance and trial quality. Share findings with trial squads and medical partners so they can make informed decisions. Document dose-related operational risks in the relevant tools, keep records inspection-ready and contribute to continuous improvement of the surveillance function. Your new department You will join the Centralised Monitoring Unit in Bangalore, part of Research & Development, where colleagues use data, technology and collaboration to move clinical development forward. Established alongside Novo Nordisk’s move to Risk-Based Monitoring in 2016 – now Risk-Based Quality Management (RBQM) – CMU helps identify, assess and reduce risks to clinical data and patient safety early, focusing on critical data, critical processes and key risks across the portfolio. Your team brings together medical reviewers, central monitors, statistical monitors and functional programmers. Day to day, you will partner with Clinical Medical Managers, Retention Specialists, Medical Advisors, Trial Managers and trial squads, as well as trial sites. CMU also works closely with the RBQM office in Denmark and global trial teams, so your insights will reach studies and colleagues across countries and help them act on issues before they grow. Your skills & qualifications You combine clinical understanding with an eye for detail in data, and you are comfortable working with colleagues and sites around the world. You will bring: A postgraduate degree in Life Sciences – M.Pharm, PharmD, MDS or MSc Nursing are preferred. 1–2 years’ experience working with patient data in a hospital, clinical trial site, pharma, biotech or CRO setting. Strong working knowledge of clinical trial conduct and ICH-GCP, as well as clinical trial data, systems and global clinical operations. Experience collaborating with diverse global stakeholders, with strong communication, relationship-building and influencing skills. Strong analytical thinking and an aptitude for clinical IT systems, including using AI and digital tools to work more efficiently. A curious, accountable and results-driven approach, and the ability to solve complex problems independently in an evolving environment. Hands-on experience from a hospital or clinical trial site set-up is preferred. Working at Novo Nordisk You will work across diverse studies with international stakeholders and modern digital tools, building skills in data-driven monitoring and global clinical operations. As the dose surveillance function is still taking shape, your voice matters: you will be trusted to take ownership, share ideas and help define how the work is done. You will be part of a team where quality and patient safety are never compromised, and where colleagues support each other to learn, improve and perform at their best.
