By connecting financial analysis, risk insights and procurement decisions, you will enable colleagues to identify exposure early and take proportionate action. Your advice will support decisions involving suppliers, contract manufacturing organisations, market developments and unit-price planning. You are comfortable working independently while bringing people together around shared decisions and actions. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering or another relevant field. Typically five years or more of relevant experience, combining strong financial-analysis capabilities with experience from procurement, supply chain, supplier risk or a comparable business environment. Strong financial-analysis skills, including the ability to interpret financial statements, assess financial health and resilience, identify potential distress indicators and explain the business implications. Experience combining financial, external-risk and internal business information and translating the analysis into clear, actionable recommendations. A can-do attitude and solution-oriented mindset. Strong stakeholder-management and facilitation skills, with the confidence to engage colleagues, managers and senior decision-makers across functions. Fluency in written and spoken English. Experience with manufacturing, procurement and supply chain is highly relevant, but pharmaceutical-industry experience is not essential. What you’ll do Manage and continuously improve recurring supplier-risk processes, including Enterprise Risk Management and upstream supply-chain risk assessments. Assess the financial health, resilience and risk of suppliers and contract manufacturing organisations using financial statements, external risk data and internal business information. Translate risk findings into clear recommendations for supplier management, negotiations, mitigation and escalation. Conduct or coordinate ad hoc financial-risk assessments, including due diligence, ownership analysis and insolvency-related cases. Analyse tariff, commodity, pricing and other relevant market exposures and connect your findings to procurement and budget decisions. Co-own the Unit Price Budget process, supporting preparation, stakeholder guidance, data consolidation and communication across relevant budget and forecast cycles. Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and improve analytical approaches, governance, templates and digital workflows to make risk-based decision support more effective and scalable. Contribute to guidance, knowledge sharing and capability building across relevant stakeholder groups. Who you’ll work with You will join Process Management & Excellence within Procurement Solutions, a centre of excellence supporting Global Direct Procurement and Global Strategic Outsourcing & Devices.
