Automation Engineer

Job description

What You Will Do Design, develop, and implement automated machinery, software, and manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and productivity. Program and maintain PLCs, HMIs, and scripts using Python, SQL, or other automation tools. Test, troubleshoot, and maintain systems to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and share technical expertise across plant locations Support production launches, process improvements, and quality initiatives. Ensure proper documentation, compliance with safety regulations, and apply PBM principles in daily operations. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Higher Education), preferably in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role (Automation / Electrical Engineer) English proficiency at C1 level Knowledge of automation engineering and the automotive industry Experience with tools and technologies such as: MS Office, Gimp, PLATO, Python, SQL, C++, VBA Strong sense of responsibility and ownership Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team What Will Put You Ahead Project management skills Creativity and innovative mindset High level of patience and attention to detail Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
