Responsibilities: Machine operators work in environments that require personal protective equipment such as eye protection, hearing protection and hand and foot protection. These protective items are required to protect machine operators from burns, cuts or eye injuries. Some environments require operators to work in the presence and be subjected to heat, high humidity levels and limited air circulation and exposed to grease, dirt and high noise levels. Some job areas require operators to work in a controlled environment with temperatures ranging from 67-70 degrees.
