Managed Inventory Administrator This role will work initially from our high performing National Distribution Site in Northampton, moving to a brand-new healthcare facility owned by CEVA Logistics in Rockingham Park, Corby which will be opening in 2027. This role is site based Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm. A salary of circa £28,000 is on offer. Help keep managed inventory orders accurate, organised and moving smoothly for customers across the UK and Ireland. You’ll coordinate orders from creation through to completion, check information carefully and resolve issues before they cause delays or errors for customers. Working closely with the Forwards team and colleagues across Customer Services, Transport, Warehouse and Operations, you’ll help ensure everyone has the right information at the right time. This role would suit someone who enjoys detailed administrative work, takes pride in getting things right and can manage several priorities while providing a responsive service to customers and colleagues. What you’ll be doing Create and process managed inventory orders for customers across the UK and Ireland. Check orders against system information and reports, correcting discrepancies before they affect customers or operations. Prepare and send accurate order files to customers and Forwards operatives. Manage backorders and respond to customer queries by email and telephone, providing clear and timely updates. Monitor the team’s shared inbox, prioritising requests and making sure queries reach the right person. Support Forwards operatives with order queries, product relocation, expiry checks and other inventory-related requests. Maintain accurate records of operational issues, mileage, order volumes, product expiries and other team activity. Coordinate with Customer Services, Transport, Warehouse and Operations to resolve issues and keep orders moving. Support the supervisor with fleet administration and operational priorities, including providing absence cover when required. What you’ll bring Previous experience in administration, order processing, customer service, inventory coordination or a similar operational role. Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and correct errors. Confidence using computer systems, reports, email and shared inboxes. Good organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities. Clear and professional communication skills, both in writing and over the telephone. A customer-focused approach and confidence working with colleagues across different teams. The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a busy team. Reliability and flexibility when supporting wider team priorities. It would be great if you also have… Experience working with managed inventory, stock control or order-management systems. Previous exposure to logistics, transport, warehousing, healthcare products or field-based operations. Experience supporting vehicle-fleet administration or operational reporting. You’ll join a team that plays an important part in keeping customer orders accurate and managed inventory activity well-coordinated across the UK and Ireland. Your work will help prevent avoidable errors, support colleagues in the field and contribute to a reliable service for customers.
