As a Process Operator within our Tank Room operation, you’ll combine hands-on delivery with the judgement to prioritise issues, solve problems and keep important work moving. What we offer This role is rotating shifts, Monday-Sunday between 06:00-18:00/18:00-06:00. 4 on, 4 off a mixture of days and nights rotating We offer a competitive rate of £13.72p/h (£29,966.53 p/a) AND you will also receive a weekly shift allowance of £109.86. (salary per hour / annum increases once full training completed) 25 days annual leave + bank holidays** Employee discount scheme Blue light card Fantastic internal progression opportunities Subsided canteen Westfield healthcare Up to 8% pension contribution Employee assistance program Duties & Responsibilities Produce batches per production plan To perform routine quality checks on the product, perform material changes and taking product samples as specified To control and record detailed data collection using batch paperwork and interpret trend data To set up the manufacturing process for the relevant product code according to the batch instructions and router documentation Carry out raw material handling as per procedures Perform material changes following safety procedures Ensure that all sanitisation procedures are performed on the process equipment at the pre-determined times To perform regular safety checks on machine and equipment prior to use for production Follow EHS/GMP/GDP/company and corporate policies and external regulatory requirements. Be actively involved in improvement programs, demonstrating a willingness to embrace new ways of working Experience required: Experience of working in a GMP environment (pharma, food, FMCG) Quality focused – able to deal with routine, repetitive tasks whilst maintaining good attention to detail Team Working - working as part of a team & sharing workload fairly with a willingness to work co-operatively and supportively in order to solve problems and achieve team targets Maintains high standards of behaviour whilst managing workload Process Orientated - must follow set standards and ways of working Flexible - able to carry out varied tasks often at short notice, adjust break timings around the production, work additional hours and adjust working hours as required by the business Ability to remain calm in a fast paced environment Punctuality is key as well as strong attendance Good standard of English comprehension - Able to understand written and verbal communication and speak, read, and write in English Well organised and task driven Experience setting up and changing over machines would be advantageous but not essential This role gives you the scope of a global healthcare organisation while keeping your contribution close to the work, customers and products it supports.
