As part of the Technology and Process Engineering Team, the Process Engineer provides day-to-day support to Operations to ensure the process runs safely, reliably, and efficiently. The Process Engineer also provides strategic leadership in the optimization and improvement of the process. As a Process Engineer, you create chemistry by… Designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting chemical manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and reliability. Analyzing process performance and implementing improvements to increase throughput, yield, and production capacity. Providing technical support to operators with troubleshooting and clear operating guidance. Developing and maintaining process documentation, including PFDs, P&IDs, operating procedures, and process calculations Assessing process hazards and reviewing changes before implementation. Working with operations, maintenance, quality, and project teams to implement improvements. Identifying, justifying, and leading or participating in continuous improvement or optimization projects focused on waste reduction, cost savings, energy efficiency, and operational excellence. Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, including participation in PHA, HAZOP, and MOC processes. If you… Hold a bachelor's or master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university. Possess 1-3 years of experience in chemical manufacturing, refining, petrochemical, pharmaceuticals, or related process manufacturing environments. 3-5 years of experience is preferred. Preferrably bring experience supporting continuous process manufacturing operations Have demonstrated experience solving complex process and operational issues. Are a strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills person. Possess effective verbal and written communication skills. Are able to work cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and EHS teams Have demonstrated knowledge of engineering economics as well as strong commitment to professional and technical development. Preferred qualifications Experience with chemical process design and optimization. Understanding of heat transfer, fluid flow, reaction engineering, and mass transfer principles. Experience utilizing process simulation, modeling, and data analysis tools.
