The Role Join our team as a Technical Resolution Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing Kyndryl’s complex, high-traffic internet site communications and network-based product systems. As a Technical Resolution Specialist, you'll be the engineer of scalable local and wide-area network solutions, bridging multiple platforms and protocols, including IP and VOIP. Your mission is to ensure seamless system performance, troubleshoot network issues, and orchestrate the installation of vital components such as routers and switches in collaboration with our trusted vendors. But that's not all – you'll also be at the forefront of innovation, developing tools to automate network system deployment, administration, and monitoring, while actively participating in project planning and implementation. You'll collaborate closely with development teams to fine-tune system operability, conduct rigorous tests to ensure network redundancy and resilience, and even step up to provide on-call service coverage when needed. You’ll be the go-to person for problem-solving of customers’ business and technical issues. Key Responsibilities Manage ship-to-shore connectivity using VSAT and Starlink, ensuring reliable WAN performance, SD-WAN integration, and seamless link failover. Design and operate SD-WAN networks, including BGP (iBGP/eBGP), policy-based routing, split tunneling, and traffic optimization. Administer enterprise LAN infrastructure with Cisco switching technologies, VLANs, STP, LACP, VTP, stacking, and redundancy. Maintain wireless networks through Cisco WLC platforms, RF optimization, interference analysis, and onboard connectivity troubleshooting. Manage Fortinet security ecosystem, including FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiClient EMS, VPNs, NAT, and network segmentation. Implement identity and access control using Cisco ISE, 802.1X authentication, authorization, and Active Directory integration. Support hybrid cloud networking across AWS and Azure, including VPC/VNet design, load balancing, security controls, and SD-WAN/IPSec integration. Ensure voice communication reliability by managing PSTN, SIP trunks, QoS policies, and resolving latency, jitter, and call-quality issues. Monitor network health and performance across BGP sessions, IPSec tunnels, WAN links, wireless infrastructure, and security events using NMS and SIEM tools. Maintain network governance and documentation, including network diagrams, IP plans, VLAN mappings, compliance standards, and audit readiness across fleet and shore locations. Required Qualifications 8-10 years of experience in a Technical Support/Resolution role or similar function Proven experience planning and implementing scalable local and wide-area network solutions between multiple platforms and protocols (including IP and VOIP) Expertise in operating internet site communications and/or network-based (Cloud) product systems Preferred Qualifications Systematic and troubleshooting skills Certifications in cybersecurity, cloud computing, or project management Exceptional communication (verbal and written) skills Maritime / offshore / remote connectivity environments Multi‑site or multi‑ship deployments Hybrid architectures (on‑prem + cloud + satellite) VSAT (primary maritime WAN) Starlink (LEO satellite connectivity) Ensure stable hybrid WAN integration with SD‑WAN Handle: Link failover & Latency-sensitive traffic optimization Work with providers (e.g., Speedcast) Certifications (Good to have) Cisco CCNP / CCIE (Enterprise or Security) Fortinet NSE4 / NSE5 / NSE7 Microsoft Azure (AZ‑700, AZ‑104) AWS (Solutions Architect Associate / Advanced Networking) CWNA / CWNP Systematic and troubleshooting skills Certifications in cybersecurity, cloud computing, or project management Exceptional communication (verbal and written) skills Being You The “Kyn” in Kyndryl means kinship, which represents the strong bonds we have with each other, our customers and our communities.
