The Solutions Engineering Team The Solutions Engineering (SE) team at Logitech for Business (L4B) exists to help Logitech win business. We are sales-facing first. We partner with Sales to earn the technical win, build customer confidence, reduce technical risk, and improve execution across priority opportunities and accounts. Our SEs connect technology, business needs, and customer experience. They lead technical discovery, solution design, demonstrations, evaluations, competitive technical positioning, and risk removal. They also bring structured field insight to Product, Support, Marketing, and leadership when it can improve customer outcomes or the business. Role Overview The Solutions Engineer is a revenue-facing technical leader who partners with assigned salespeople to make opportunities winnable. This person leads discovery, solution design, technical validation, demonstrations, proof-of-concept engagements, competitive positioning, and clear follow-through. Solutions Engineers help customers evaluate Logitech’s offerings through technical discovery, live demonstrations, architectural guidance, and structured evaluations. They solve complex technical challenges, recommend practical deployment strategies, and help customers move from interest to technical confidence. A successful Solutions Engineer can engage credibly with IT, AV, workplace technology, security, procurement, and executive stakeholders. They simplify complexity, connect technical capabilities to business value, and help the customer and sales team reach a clear technical decision. Support owns support tickets; the SE steps into escalations when technical uncertainty or product friction puts customer trust, revenue, or deal momentum at risk. Location This role is geographically aligned to Southern California to support close collaboration with priority accounts, regional leadership, salespeople, and strategic partners. The location is based on customer concentration, coverage requirements, and time-zone alignment. The candidate must reside in the designated region by the start date. Any future change to the employee’s primary work location requires prior company approval. Primary Location: Irvine and Los Angeles area Secondary Considerations: San Diego This is a remote position based from a home office within SoCal territory. Regular onsite customer, partner, and Logitech meetings across the Southern California area and possible travel outside the territory. Your Key Contributions: Sales Partnership & Solution Design: Partner with assigned salespeople as technical co-pilots, working from one account and opportunity plan. Lead discovery and design Logitech solutions that address customer goals, environments, stakeholders, risks, and success criteria. Align on objectives and roles before important customer engagements, then close the loop with clear owners, decisions, and next steps. Proof of Concept (PoC) Execution: Lead PoC engagements to validate Logitech solutions in real-world environments. Lead evaluations with defined scope, success criteria, owners, timelines, and decision points, documenting outcomes and next steps. Technical Pre-Sales Leadership: Lead technical discovery and address objections with clear, credible guidance for customers and sales teams. Shape competitive technical positioning and connect Logitech’s capabilities to customer outcomes and business value. Own the technical strategy for high-impact opportunities and communicate material risks, decisions, and next steps. Customer Engagement & Influence: Conduct technical deep dives, addressing IT/AV concerns, deployment strategies, and product functionality. Develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders and technical decision-makers, serving as a go-to advisor for collaboration solutions. Deliver training sessions and enablement workshops to improve customer understanding and adoption of Logitech products. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product teams to communicate customer-driven insights and influence future product development. Work with marketing teams to refine messaging and competitive positioning for Logitech solutions. Collaborate with support teams to ensure smooth deployment experiences and provide input on improving technical documentation. Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain visibility of meaningful technical work, risks, decisions, and outcomes in Salesforce and other company systems. Maintain an optimized home lab or demo environment to test new product features and demonstrate Logitech’s solutions. Qualifications Relevant Experience: Experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, or technical consulting in IT/AV. Experience working with enterprise, mid-market, or channel partners in a technical sales capacity. Background in pre-sales solution design, IT infrastructure, AV deployments, or collaboration technologies. Ability to navigate technical sales cycles, handling customer concerns and validating product feasibility. Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of video collaboration solutions (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, Webex). Strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS, security configurations, and cloud-based collaboration tools. Experience with AV system design, including microphones, speakers, cameras, and room acoustics. Familiarity with device management platforms, cloud infrastructure, and API-based integrations. Communication, Ownership & Operating Style: Strong discovery, presentation, demonstration, storytelling, and executive communication skills. Ability to connect technical capabilities to customer outcomes and business value. Professional reliability, responsiveness, judgment, and follow-through in a customer-facing environment. Comfort operating with autonomy, ambiguity, and accountability without requiring daily task direction. Cross-Functional Impact: Operate independently across complex accounts and opportunities while keeping leadership informed of material risks and decisions. Influence customers, sales partners, peers, and cross-functional teams without relying on formal authority. Recognize patterns across the territory, mentor peers, and help raise the quality of the broader Solutions Engineering organization. Travel Expectations: Regular travel throughout Southern California is expected for customer meetings, partner engagements, and internal collaboration. Regular travel into our Irvine office location for customer visits and collaboration. Up to 50% travel may be required, including overnight travel for customer visits, internal meetings, and industry events. Professional Development: Expected to stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and Logitech product advancements.
