Your Job The Global Quality Director is a leader of leaders responsible for leading John Zink’s Global Quality organization across four regions: Americas, Middle East, Europe, and Asia Pacific. This role provides strategic and operational leadership to build one globally aligned Quality organization while enabling effective execution within each region. This leader sets the global Quality vision, strategy, priorities, and expectations; develops and empowers regional Quality leadership; strengthens quality management systems; mitigates risk; and enables compliant and reliable delivery of products and services worldwide. This leader is expected to challenge the status quo, elevate organizational capability, and build scalable systems that create long-term value for customers, employees, and business. Our Team You will be part of the John Zink Global Operations leadership team, working through regional Quality leaders and partnering across global manufacturing sites, engineering teams, commercial teams, service operations, and regional leadership. The Global Quality organization operates with common standards, systems, metrics, and expectations while recognizing regional business and regulatory requirements. What You Will Do Set and communicate the vision, strategy, priorities, outcomes, and expectations for the Global Quality organization. Lead, develop, and empower Quality leaders across the Americas, Middle East, Europe, and Asia Pacific, establishing clear accountability and effective regional execution. Build one globally aligned Quality organization with common standards, systems, metrics, governance, and operating rhythms. Set and execute the global Quality strategy aligned with business priorities and long-term value creation. Build and scale quality management systems, driving standardization, consistency, and continuous improvement across all global sites. Partner with business, engineering, manufacturing, commercial, service, and regional leaders to identify, assess, and mitigate operational, regulatory, and enterprise risk. Drive quality excellence across product realization, supplier quality, manufacturing, and service operations. Lead continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and other appropriate problem-solving methods. Ensure compliance with applicable global, regional, and local quality regulations and standards. Use data, analytics, and leading indicators to drive accountability, inform decisions, identify systemic opportunities, and enable proactive improvement. Support quality audits, root cause investigations, and corrective action processes with a focus on learning, prevention, and sustained results. Build leadership capability and succession depth across the global Quality organization. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Experience leading Quality programs in a global industrial or manufacturing environment. Experience leading leaders and developing geographically dispersed teams across multiple regions. Knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory frameworks, and risk management practices. Demonstrated ability to set direction, establish priorities, clarify expectations, and drive accountability through leaders. Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with senior leaders across functions and geographies. Willing and able to travel internationally up to 40%. *This position is not eligible for VISA sponsorship What Will Put You Ahead Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, quality, manufacturing, or a related technical field. Experience in combustion, engineered equipment, or highly regulated industrial environments. Experience integrating quality strategy into product development and capital projects. Professional certifications (e.g., ASQ, Six Sigma, ISO Lead Auditor). Demonstrated success building scalable global systems during periods of growth or transformation.
