The Role Your role As a CMDB Analyst, you will help maintain the accuracy of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and asset information that supports critical IT services. You will work closely with technical teams to ensure data is accurate, compliant, and supports effective service delivery. What you will do • Maintain CMDB records, asset information, and CI relationships. • Monitor and improve CMDB data quality and compliance. • Ensure CMDB, asset, change, incident, and problem records remain aligned. • Support audits, reporting, and governance activities. • Work with technical teams to resolve data quality and ownership issues. • Assist with process improvements, automation, and reporting initiatives. Required skills and experience • Experience with CMDB, configuration management, or asset management processes. • Experience using ITSM tools such as BMC Helix or ServiceNow. • Understanding of CMDB data models, CI relationships, and asset management. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and technical teams. • Knowledge of ITIL service management practices. Preferred skills and experience • Experience with BMC Helix CMDB and Discovery. • ServiceNow CMDB experience. • ITIL Foundation certification or higher. • Experience in enterprise or managed services environments. • Knowledge of asset management and service governance.
