The Position Are you passionate about driving strategic resource management in clinical development and optimizing utilization of related systems and data? We are seeking a Senior Resource Manager to join Clinical Development Operations (CDO) Business Operations Team, who will combine strong project leadership with advanced data analytics and programming capabilities to drive end-to-end resource planning and decision-making across CDO in a global, cross-functional setting. This role will play a critical part in shaping the future of resource management by enabling data-driven insights, scalable solutions, and high-impact transformation initiatives. Take a role, which is pivotal in ensuring operational reliability, regulatory compliance, and strategic alignment across global CDO and beyond. This position can either be filled in Ingelheim or Biberach and has a hybrid setup with approximately 1-2 days per week on site. Tasks & responsibilities You will drive continuous improvement of resource management, from forecasting and utilization to processes, systems, and tools. Therefore, you will oversee resource management platforms and processes, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and business continuity. In addition, you will implement standards, methodologies, and reporting solutions to support strategic workforce planning and compliance. The collaboration with stakeholders to align resource strategies and resolve resource challenges will be another of your important tasks. Because of your expertise, you will craft and implement change initiatives, including communication, training, and user enablement. You will also develop workforce and resource plans to ensure the successful delivery of clinical and business priorities. Moreover, you will generate insights through KPI monitoring and dashboards to support strategic decisions. Requirements Master’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, Life Science, Computer Science or related field Several years of experience in resource and project management within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO industry Strong understanding of clinical operations, ideally including workforce planning and resource management principles Proficiency in resource management and/or data quality and convincing strengths in data analytics, visualization and programming skills (e.g. Python, SAS, SQL) Experience in large scale project leadership, working in cross-functional teams and managing competing priorities. Certifications such as PMP are a plus Excellent organizational, communication and stakeholder management skills combined with high attention to detail and strong compliance focus Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory due to the international approach of the role Internal Job Title:
