Job Description: Senior Cloud Security Engineer Primary Focus: AWS security, IAM, authorization, cloud security controls, infrastructure security, API security, and implementation of security architecture. Responsibilities Implement authentication and authorization capabilities using AWS Cognito, Amazon Verified Permissions, and VPC Lattice. Implement and maintain API security controls, including schema validation, traffic inspection, WAF configuration, and service-to-service security. Configure and maintain encryption at rest, encryption in transit, tokenization, and other data protection mechanisms. Implement secure session management, SSO integrations, and machine-to-machine authentication patterns. Support privileged access management and centralized authorization frameworks. Implement logging, audit controls, telemetry protection, and immutable audit storage requirements. Support vulnerability management, cloud security posture improvements, and compliance initiatives. Work closely with application and platform teams to ensure security controls are consistently implemented.
