Job Title - Data Science Consultant – Data Visualization | S&C Management Level : 09 - Consultant Location: PAN India Must have skills: Data Visualization - React, Streamlit , Looker, Python , D3.js , Dashboard Development Good to have skills: SQL, Tableau, Power BI, REST APIs, BigQuery , AI/Gen AIs Job Summary: As a Data Visualization Consultant, you will be responsible for designing and developing interactive, insight-driven dashboards and data applications that help clients make faster and better business decisions. Your typical day will involve building visualization solutions using React, Streamlit, and Looker, collaborating with data and business teams to translate complex datasets into compelling visual narratives, and contributing to end-to-end delivery of analytics products. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design and build interactive dashboards and data applications using React (with charting libraries such as Recharts, Victory, or D3.js), Streamlit, and Looker. - Work with data engineers and analysts to understand underlying data structures and translate them into intuitive, user-friendly visualizations. - Develop Looker LookML models, explores, and dashboards to enable self-serve analytics for business stakeholders. - Build Python-powered Streamlit applications for rapid prototyping of analytical tools and internal dashboards. - Ensure visualizations meet performance, accessibility, and design standards; conduct testing and iteration based on user feedback. - Collaborate with managers and senior stakeholders to gather requirements, present work-in-progress, and incorporate feedback into deliverables. - Stay current with emerging trends in data visualization, front-end development, and BI tooling to continuously enhance solution quality. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must Have Skills: Hands-on experience building data visualizations using React (with chart libraries), Streamlit, and Looker. - Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and Streamlit application development. - Experience with Looker: LookML modeling, creating explores, views, dashboards, and embedding analytics. - Strong understanding of data visualization principles: chart selection, layout, color theory, and storytelling with data. - Working knowledge of SQL for querying and transforming data from relational databases or cloud warehouses (e.g. BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift). - Good to Have: Familiarity with D3.js, Tableau, or Power BI; experience with REST APIs and JSON data handling in React applications. - Basic understanding of Git/version control and agile delivery practices. Additional Information: - The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of visualization work demonstrating proficiency across React, Streamlit, and Looker, with the ability to balance technical depth and design sensibility. - This role suits professionals who have moved beyond an analyst level and are ready to independently own visualization development and contribute to client-facing analytics delivery, with a clear progression path toward a Manager designation. - This position is based at PAN India offices.
