Molex is seeking a Production Lead to join our team in Hudson, WI with quality focused manufacturing experience to support manufacturing and production. This role will oversee daily fiber‑optic assembly operations to meet production and delivery goals while ensuring quality, safety, and process compliance. They will also coordinate work assignments, monitor performance, resolve issues, and maintain equipment readiness. Production Leads coach operators, support continuous improvement, and collaborate closely with cross functional teams. What You Will Do Lead daily fiber-optic assembly operations, ensuring production schedules, quality standards, and customer delivery commitments are achieved safely and efficiently. Coordinate team priorities, staffing, and resource allocation to optimize workflow, maximize productivity, and support changing business needs. Monitor production performance and drive resolution of operational challenges, proactively identifying opportunities to improve throughput, quality, and overall effectiveness. Champion a culture of quality by ensuring compliance with Molex standards, work instructions, ISO requirements, and documentation practices. Serve as the primary escalation point for production and quality concerns, partnering with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Develop team capability through training, coaching, and mentoring, fostering a high-performing environment built on accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning. Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to support operational goals, equipment readiness, and successful execution of production priorities. Support continuous improvement initiatives, new product introductions, and process enhancements that improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance. Promote a safe and compliant work environment by reinforcing EHS requirements, safe work practices, proper PPE use, and ergonomic standards. Empower team members to identify opportunities, solve problems, and contribute ideas that strengthen operational performance and drive business results. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Experience mentoring, guiding, or leading peers in a production setting What Will Put You Ahead Prior experience in fiber optic manufacturing environments Experience working with ERP systems in a manufacturing or operations environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with timekeeping systems or production scheduling management This position is not eligible for VISA Sponsorship.
