Boston Sr Manager, HEORRWE Analytics (Neurology) MA 02108
Servier
Job description
About Servier Servier Pharmaceuticals is an independent, commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company built to think differently about what long-term impact can look like in healthcare. Launched in 2018 and backed by the strength and stability of the Servier Group, our foundation-governed model gives us the freedom to invest for the future, move with purpose, and stay focused on where patients need us most. In less than a decade, we have grown from a small U.S. presence into a rapidly expanding, multi-billion-dollar organization with an award-winning culture, six commercial products, and a portfolio strengthened through bold strategic investments and innovation. Our teams are helping advance important new treatment options for patients facing serious diseases with high unmet need, particularly in rare oncology and neurology. Our ambition is clear: to build a leading U.S. biopharmaceutical company known for scientific excellence, operational strength, and deep commitment to patients. Just as important is how we build it. We are creating a culture that values entrepreneurship, collaboration, accountability, and the belief that individuals at every level can shape the future of the company. For people who want more than a job — who want the opportunity to build, lead, grow, and make a measurable impact — Servier offers the chance to be part of a company with purpose, momentum, and the ability to help define what comes next for patients and for our industry. Role Summary The Senior Manager, HEOR/RWE Analytics – Neurology will play a key role in building Servier's evidence-generation capabilities for an expanding rare neurology portfolio encompassing neuromuscular disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, and rare epilepsies. Reporting to the Director of Evidence & Innovation, the individual will lead data strategy, data landscaping, real-world data assessment, and evidence analytics across the neurology portfolio, with an initial focus on Becker muscular dystrophy and support for emerging programs including Fragile X syndrome and KCNT1-related developmental and epileptic encephalopathies. The role sits within the Evidence & Innovation team, part of the HEOR/RWE, Scientific Communications & Publications organisation within Medical Affairs, and supports the development of Servier's Medical Evidence Engine through three complementary pillars: Scientific excellence and evidence governance In-house evidence generation capabilities (data strategy + analytics) Innovation in methods and evidence generation The successful candidate will help establish foundational data assets, analytical capabilities, and evidence-generation approaches for rare neurological diseases where conventional evidence sources are often limited and fit-for-purpose solutions require innovative approaches to data acquisition, natural history evidence generation, patient identification, endpoint development, and advanced analytics. Primary Responsibilities 1. Neurology Data Strategy and Data Landscaping Lead data landscaping and evidence-enabling data strategy for Becker muscular dystrophy launch and the broader neurology portfolio, identifying fit-for-purpose data sources across claims, electronic health records, registries, clinical datasets, patient-reported outcomes, specialty pharmacy data, natural history datasets, and other relevant sources. Assess the suitability of real-world data assets based on population relevance, longitudinality, clinical depth, endpoint availability, treatment and diagnostic capture, data quality, linkage potential, governance requirements, and strategic value. Develop disease- and portfolio-level data strategies that enable repeatable evidence generation, rapid insight generation, feasibility assessment, study design, and strategic decision support. Partner with internal stakeholders to define priority evidence questions, data gaps, and data acquisition needs for neurology, ensuring alignment with Medical Affairs strategy, HEOR plans, Value & Access needs, R&D evidence requirements, and Global priorities. 2. Evidence Engine Analytics and In-House Evidence Generation Lead analytics strategy and execution for Neurology HEOR/RWE initiatives. Translate complex real-world data into scientifically rigorous, clinically meaningful, and decision-ready insights for Medical Affairs, HEOR, Value & Access, R&D, U.S., and Global stakeholders. Build and manage analytics workflows that support both exploratory and hypothesis-driven research, including dashboards, reusable analytics modules, rapid feasibility tools, and visual insight products. Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable dashboards, applications, and analytics products for neurology stakeholders. Operate selectively as advisor, project lead, hands-on analytics partner, or vendor oversight lead. 3. Vendor, Data Partner, and Data Asset Management Lead or support the identification, evaluation, contracting, and oversight of external data vendors, analytics vendors, research partners, and technology partners supporting neurology evidence generation. Manage vendors conducting analytics within Servier’s Medical Evidence Engine operating model, ensuring methodological quality, delivery discipline, documentation, reproducibility, and alignment with internal governance expectations. Serve as a scientific and operational bridge between external partners and internal stakeholders across HEOR, Medical Strategy, Value & Access, R&D, Legal, Compliance, Data Privacy, IT, and Global teams. 4. Scientific Governance and Evidence Generation Standards Participate in the Evidence & Innovation function’s scientific governance activities, including protocol review, study concept refinement, evidence-generation planning, analytics review, and dissemination readiness. Support governance processes that ensure HEOR/RWE studies are scientifically robust, auditable, compliant, and fit for their intended use across medical, access, publication, and potential regulated communication pathways. Provide methodological input into study protocols, statistical analysis plans, study reports, dashboard specifications, and evidence outputs. Ensure appropriate documentation of cohort definitions, data provenance, analytic methods, assumptions, limitations, and interpretation guardrails. 5. Innovation in Methods and Advanced Evidence Identify and implement fit-for-purpose methodological innovations for neurology evidence generation, including advanced RWE methods, disease progression modelling, predictive analytics, patient stratification, external comparator approaches, natural history analyses, data linkage, and AI-enabled evidence exploration where appropriate. Evaluate innovative datasets and approaches that address limitations of conventional RWD, such as limited endpoint depth, incomplete longitudinal follow-up, diagnostic uncertainty, and limited capture of functional or patient-centered outcomes. Contribute to the development of advanced evidence systems that move beyond static studies toward reusable, analytics-enabled evidence capabilities. Apply a disciplined, fit-for-purpose approach to innovation, ensuring that advanced analytics outputs are appropriately labelled, contextualized, validated, and governed for their intended use. 6. Cross-Functional Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement Act as a strategic evidence partner to Neurology Medical Affairs, HEOR, Value & Access, R&D, Global teams, and cross-functional U.S. stakeholders. Translate stakeholder questions into evidence-generation strategies, data requirements, analytics plans, and decision-ready outputs. Communicate complex methods and research findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leaders and cross-functional teams. Support alignment between U.S. and Global stakeholders on neurology evidence needs, data-generation tactics, analytics priorities, and dissemination opportunities. Contribute to Annual Medical Plan-linked evidence pl
