Job Summary Position will be responsible for Controlling at the Grand Island Facility and will report directly to the Plant Manager. Function as a strategic partner with plant management to effectively provide accurate and timely financial and operational information/analysis relative to organization’s financial goals and objectives. Directing and providing financial information to drive strategic projects to reduce costs, mitigate risks, gain efficiencies, and drive ROI at the Grand Island facility. Salary Range: $142,929-$200,000 annually + 16 annual bonus & $25,000 MTIP award Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities. ResponsibilitiesSupport the plant with financial leadership, insight and business acumen in support of operational decision with recommendations based on empirical data and business experience. Develop the annual budget and quarterly forecasts 1) P&L, EBIT 2) All plant department budgets (headcount and expenses) 3) Plant wide capital budgets. Coordinates analysis of the plant’s actual and planned performance to achieve budgeted/forecasted goals and recommends alternate courses of action to achieve same. Implement and maintain Fresenius Kabi standards. Preparation of standard costs for all items produced at the facility. Responsible for accurate and timely completion of monthly financial close and analysis. Communicate monthly and weekly results through reports, presentations, and organizational meetings. Safeguarding plant assets through development and implementation of procedures to ensure that transactions are recorded in accordance with both corporate policy and GAAP. Summarizes the location’s exposure for obsolescence by coordinating quarterly review of inventory with the materials management function. Develops internal accounting reports that appraise management of the plants activity including, coordination of training to ensure management understanding and compliance. Supervises Accounting/Payroll staff as needed. Developing cost estimates for potential new products All employees are responsible for ensuring the compliance to company documents, programs and activities related to Health, Safety, Environment, Energy and Quality Management System as per your roles and responsibilities. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required, MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred Possesses knowledge of cost accounting, inventories, GAAP, computer systems and SAP Must be able to effectively communicate with all organizational levels. Proficiency in ERP systems and financial software (SAP, Oracle or similar) Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities. Analytical and problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering results. Typically requires 10+ years’ experience in progressively challenging accounting/finance positions.
