Department: Engineering / Automation Location: [Specify location] Duration: [3 / 6 months] Internship Job Summary We are looking for Instrumentation & Automation Interns who are enthusiastic and eager to learn industrial automation systems. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to instrumentation devices, control systems, PLCs, and automation processes used in industrial environments. Roles & Responsibilities Assist in installation, calibration, and testing of instrumentation equipment such as sensors, transmitters, and control valves Support basic PLC, SCADA, and DCS-related activities Read and understand P&ID diagrams, control drawings, and wiring diagrams Help in troubleshooting instrumentation and automation issues Collect and analyze process data for system optimization Maintain documentation related to automation systems and procedures Follow safety standards and company guidelines during all tasks Required Skills & Qualifications Pursuing / Recently completed Diploma or BE/BTech in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, or Automation Engineering Basic knowledge of: Sensors and Transducers PLC fundamentals Control systems Industrial instrumentation Familiarity with automation tools/software is an added advantage Good analytical and problem-solving skills Willingness to learn and ability to work in a team Learning Opportunities Practical exposure to industrial automation systems Hands-on experience with PLCs, sensors, and control panels Understanding real-time industrial processes Industry-relevant technical skill development Apply now Safe Harbour Cookie Policy Privacy Policy Terms of Use © 2026, Biocon.
