Join OpenText's Revenue Recognition team as a Senior Revenue Recognition Analyst and play a key role in supporting global cloud revenue recognition activities. In this position, you'll partner with teams across Billing Operations, Sales, Deal Desk, FP&A, and Finance to ensure accurate revenue recognition, timely reporting, and compliance with accounting standards. Your Impact Review customer contracts and ensure revenue is recognized in compliance with ASC 606. Calculate percentage-of-completion (POC) revenue for professional services engagements. Support month-end and quarter-end close activities related to revenue recognition. Prepare journal entries, including SSP allocations, in accordance with company policy. Maintain deferred revenue schedules and perform GL account reconciliations. Investigate and resolve revenue fluctuations in partnership with Billing Operations and Finance. Assist with SOX testing, internal and external audits, and audit inquiries. Drive process improvements and perform ad hoc analysis to support business decisions. What You Need to Succeed Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3-5 years of accounting and/or finance experience. Experience with revenue recognition, preferably ASC 606. Strong analytical and data analysis skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency. Experience with SAP and Salesforce is an asset. Experience in the technology, software, or cloud industry is preferred. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Salary Range: $76,800 - $115,200 ; Depending on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
