This position reports to: Senior Project Engineer __ The work model for the role is: hybrid / #LI-Hybrid Key responsibilities As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical commissioning of automation and control systems at our customers’ sites. You will support projects throughout the entire process, from preparation and testing to successful handover, ensuring reliable and smooth plant operation. You will be mainly accountable for: Coordination and adaptation of engineering solutions with customers and project teams through technical clarification meetings Planning, coordination and execution of commissioning of automation and control systems Parameterization, configuration and optimization of control and process control systems Functional tests, system tests and approvals including customer acceptance and trial operations Analysis and troubleshooting of errors during the commissioning phase Ensuring compliance with schedule, quality and cost specifications Creation of commissioning reports and technical documentation Support for service assignments and modernization projects with ABB automation systems (800xA, Melody, P14) Qualifications for the role Completed degree in electrical engineering, automation technology or comparable technical training Initial or several years of professional experience in the commissioning of industrial or power plant facilities Knowledge of automation systems, control technology and process control Understanding of industrial networks, fieldbus systems and control engineering Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working Strong customer orientation as well as excellent communication skills, teamwork and sense of responsibility Willingness to travel for national and international projects Proficient German language skills as well as good English skills in written and spoken form Benefits Canteen Employee Assistance Program Flexible Workpractices Employee Share Acquisition Plan Please note: in the case of equal suitability, people with severe disabilities and their equals are given preference.
