The opportunity: The Senior ERP System Architect/Manufacturing designs business-driven, standards-based, and future-ready solutions within the ERP Plan to Deliver Products (P2DP) Manufacturing domain. In this role, you will define technical strategy and drive end-to-end technical delivery across core ERP capabilities. Serving as the System Architect for Agile Release Trains (ARTs), you will design solutions aligned with product requirements, business priorities, and enterprise standards while managing non-functional requirements (NFRs) and fitness functions. You will lead cross-functional teams to solve complex problems, evaluate emerging technologies, manage technical debt, and provide expert guidance to live operational sites. Job Responsibilities Architectural Governance: Define the ART Architectural Runway and serve as the technical lead for agile teams. Establish architectural guardrails, ensure solution design assurance, and lead architecture reviews through designated governance bodies. Enforce strict adherence to enterprise core principles, business alignment, and compliance standards while mitigating architectural risks and technical debt. Delivery Support: Act as System Architect for core RDT-ERP ARTs. Ensure high-quality, on-time delivery for deployment readiness while minimizing workarounds and transition friction. Own and implement system enablers to achieve strategic business goals. Serve as the primary escalation point for live site incidents, maintaining SLA compliance and audit readiness for systems and documentation. Stakeholder Engagement: Articulate complex architectural concepts and trade-offs clearly across cross-functional teams and ARTs. Collaborate closely with agile teams to support feature grooming, solution delivery, and alignment between business and technical stakeholders. Impact/Strategy: Develops and maintains the product's technology roadmap. Provides technical oversight, guidance, and consultation on specific technologies for product teams. Improves existing solutions, manages technical debt, and researches, evaluates, pilots, and drives the adoption of new technologies. Identifies opportunities to enhance value and business processes within a Complex or Multiple Solution or Product Context. Complexity / (Product Size): Operates within a Complex or Multiple Solution or Product Context. Business / Technical ability: Applies in-depth and expert-level knowledge in multiple technology areas. Proactively contributes to Architecture Practices development and mentoring. Who you are: Education / Experience Proven track record of maintaining the vision, roadmap, and current-state landscape for ERP solutions while evaluating initiative impacts on capabilities, risks, and overall architecture. Hands-on experience leading SAP implementations, with a primary focus on the Manufacturing domain and connected supply chain areas, including Quality Management (QM), Warehouse Management (EWM), Production Planning, and Supply Chain. Solid understanding and practical experience applying Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles and methodology within an enterprise environment. Proven track record of proactively contributing to architecture practices development and mentoring others. Technical Skills S/4HANA Manufacturing: Deep expertise in SAP PP, PP-PI, and shop-floor connected systems. Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and regulated environments (Pharma/GxP) is highly preferred. SAP BTP & Emerging Tech: Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) extension capabilities to support a Clean Core strategy. Architecture Governance & Data Modeling: Demonstrated ability to design conceptual and logical data models, integration patterns, NFR frameworks, and reference architectures across complex supply chain ecosystems. Ability to define and drive reference architectures, patterns, NFRs, and fitness functions. Strong capability to drive external technology trends and assess feasibility for multiple solutions, including conducting vendor assessments. Additional Qualifications Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate difficult concepts and influence stakeholders to adopt different perspectives. Proactive mindset to identify opportunities to enhance value, improve existing solutions, manage technical debt, and lead teams in identifying innovative solutions. What You Get Salary Range: 228,900.00 – 425,100.00 PLN gross/year based on an employment contract (UoP). Annual Target Bonus: 20% target bonus payment based on your performance.
