Job description
Lead end-to-end execution of 220 kV GIS/AIS substation projects, ensuring safe, profitable and on-time delivery in compliance with customer, contractual, quality and EHS requirements. How You'll Make an Impact • Handle service complaint of EHV Circuit Breakers (72.5 kV to 800 kV) from domestic and international customers. • Ensure timely response, registration, tracking and closure of customer complaints and service requests. • Manage installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency breakdown support activities. • Provide advanced technical guidance for fault diagnosis, root cause analysis and corrective actions. • Drive customer satisfaction initiatives and implement action plans to improve Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). • Prepare, review and approve service reports, method statements, technical assessments, and prepare RCA reports. • Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Order Management, and Sales teams to resolve customer issues effectively. • Utilize Power BI and other digital tools for service performance monitoring, reporting, and trend analysis. • Ensure compliance with company safety policies, quality standards, and customer requirements during all service activities. • Manage escalations from key customers and ensure timely closure of critical issues. • Resource planning, tools and equipment requirements for service operations. • Identify process improvement opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the service organization. • Ensure readiness of service resources for emergency site interventions. What You Bring • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering. • 8 to 12 years of experience in EHV Switchgear, Circuit Breakers or power transmission equipment. • Minimum 5 years of experience in service operation. • Expertise in installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of high-voltage equipment. • Sound understanding of control circuits, schematic drawings, SLDs, interlocking logic and substation operations. • Knowledge of condition monitoring, diagnostic testing and reliability improvement techniques. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis methodologies. • Proficiency in Power BI, MS Excel and service management tools. • Excellent communication, customer handling and stakeholder management skills. • Experience handling domestic and international service assignments. • Willingness to travel extensively across India and overseas for customer support. • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required About the team Our product portfolio includes AIS (upto 800 kV), GIS (upto 420 kV), Power Transformers (upto 765 kV, 500 MVA), Reactors (upto 765 kV), Traction Transformers (upto 33 kV, 10 MVA). We provide EPC for high and extra high voltage projects pertinent to AIS/GIS, Flexible Alternating Current Transmission System (FACTS) devices and High Voltage Direct Current Voltage Source Converter (HVDC VSC) technology. Further, we off er an extensive range of services for the complete lifecycle of the High Voltage /Extra High Voltage asset and projects including bay extension, substation modernisation, product retrofitting and overhauling, emergency services, breakdown services, Long Term Service Agreements (LTSAs), maintenance contracts, O&M contracts and spares.
