Position Title: Product Design Engineer Your Job We are seeking individuals who are proactive, humble, eager to learn new skills, and demonstrate strong potential for growth. Our R&D/Product Development Engineering Teams generate original ideas for innovative products and guide their development from concept to mass production. About the Role: This position supports the development of liquid cooling solutions for AI servers, data centers, and high-power electronics applications. Working with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams, the engineer will contribute to cold plate design, coolant flow development, product testing, and manufacturing process evaluation. The role is suitable for an early-career engineer who is interested in developing practical skills in thermal-mechanical design, fluid flow, product validation, and new product introduction from concept through mass production. What You Will Do (Job Description) Liquid Cooling Product Development Support Support the development of liquid cooling products and thermal management solutions for high-performance computing and AI infrastructure. Assist with product concepts, component selection, and design documentation under the guidance of experienced engineers. Research cooling technologies and summarize technical findings to support design decisions. Cold Plate Design & Development Create and update 3D models, 2D drawings, and product specifications for cold plates and related components. Support the development of internal structures and thermal enhancement features based on defined requirements. Work with thermal and manufacturing engineers to improve thermal performance, pressure drop, manufacturability, and system integration. Coolant Flow Path & Manifold Design Support Assist with coolant flow path and manifold design for cooling efficiency and flow distribution., Support evaluation of channel structures, flow balance, and pressure drop through simulation results and laboratory testing. Apply basic thermal-fluid principles and learn to use CFD results to support design improvement. Joining & Manufacturing Process Support Support evaluation and qualification activities for cold plate joining processes such as brazing, laser welding, friction stir welding, diffusion bonding, and sealing. Work with suppliers and manufacturing teams to collect process data, review samples, and document findings. Assist with troubleshooting related to product quality, yield, and manufacturability. Product Development & Validation Support Support product development activities from concept and prototype through design validation, qualification, and mass production. Prepare test samples, update design verification documents, review test results, and track engineering issues. Participate in DFM, DFA, tolerance review, and cost improvement activities with cross-functional teams. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) · Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or a related field. · 0–3 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, thermal engineering, product development, or manufacturing; recent graduates with relevant academic projects or internships are welcome to apply. · Basic proficiency in CAD software such as NX, Creo, or SolidWorks. · Basic understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and product specifications. · Basic knowledge of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, materials, and common manufacturing processes. · Ability to support prototype builds, testing, data collection, failure analysis, and engineering documentation. · Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn from testing and manufacturing feedback. · Ability to communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams in English. · Proactive, responsible, and able to manage assigned tasks with guidance from senior engineers. What Will Put You Ahead Internship, academic project, or hands-on experience related to cold plates, liquid cooling, thermal design, or mechanical product development. Exposure to CFD or thermal simulation tools and the ability to interpret basic simulation results. Familiarity with machining, brazing, welding, stamping, plating, molding, sealing, or other manufacturing processes. Experience supporting laboratory testing, prototype builds, data analysis, or technical report preparation. Interest in AI servers, data centers, high-performance computing, or thermal management technologies.
