Must have skills : Red Hat OpenShift Good to have skills : NA Minimum 7.5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The engineer collaborates with different teams to maintain system stability and performance, contributing to the overall reliability of business processes. The work environment is dynamic, requiring adaptability and a keen eye for detail to address challenges as they arise and support continuous business operations. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of issues and minimize system downtime. - Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance team capabilities. - Monitor system health and proactively identify potential risks to prevent disruptions. - Document troubleshooting processes and solutions to build a comprehensive knowledge base for the team. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Red Hat OpenShift. - Experience with container orchestration and management within cloud environments. - Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and command-line tools. - Ability to troubleshoot complex application and infrastructure issues in distributed systems. - Familiarity with automation and scripting to streamline support tasks and deployments. - Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices related to cloud platforms.
