Job description

Oversee General Contractor performance from project start through completion, ensuring quality, adherence to schedule, and compliance with contractual obligations. Administer the construction contract to support client interests, providing guidance on contract matters and managing necessary adjustments. Facilitate communication and information exchange between the client and the Project Team. Enforce the Construction Contract so that General Contractor provides a high-quality project to client’s satisfaction in accordance with the drawings and specifications produced by the client’s design consultants. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems relevant to data centre construction. Verify and validate the receipt and condition of Owner-Furnished Contractor-Installed (OFCI) equipment. Coordinate with the General Contractor, Separate Contractors, and subcontractors to ensure collaboration, prevent scheduling conflicts, and address critical path items. Advise on payment applications and change orders as required. Monitor and enforce health and safety standards on-site, reporting all incidents promptly and ensuring compliance with regulatory and client-specific safety protocols. Manage project correspondence, including RFIs, Change Orders, and documentation, to ensure accurate and timely communication. Oversee the project schedule, anticipate long lead items, and identify critical paths to maintain efficient and timely project progress. Adhere to client’s Code of Conduct, including confidentiality, background checks, and conflict of interest disclosure Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in construction project management or owner’s representative role ideally within data centre or similar technical environments. In-depth understanding of construction contracts, design specifications, and health and safety regulations. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills. MEP background.
