About the RoleLead the strategic sourcing and category management of critical long-lead equipment (LLE) for large-scale data center projects across APAC. This role combines technical expertise, commercial leadership, and supplier management to ensure cost-effective, timely, and reliable procurement outcomes. Key Responsibilities• Manage LLE categories including generators, transformers, MV/LV switchgear, chillers, cooling towers, and modular equipment. • Lead end-to-end procurement activities including RFx processes, tender evaluation, contract negotiations, PO placement, and delivery tracking. • Drive cost optimization through benchmarking, competitive bidding, and supplier negotiations. • Assess supplier risks and implement strategies to maintain supply chain continuity. • Partner with technical, project, and delivery teams to align procurement with project milestones. • Develop procurement planning and reporting tools to improve visibility and execution. Required Qualifications• Significant experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management within infrastructure, construction, manufacturing, or data center environments. • Hands-on experience sourcing critical data center infrastructure equipment. • Strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills, including T&Cs, warranties, and liability provisions. • Experience managing large-value procurement portfolios and supplier relationships. • Proficiency with SAP/MRP systems and e-procurement tools. • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline. Preferred Qualifications• Experience supporting hyperscale or mission-critical data center programs. • ISO 9001 Internal Auditor or equivalent quality certification. • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills. • Experience managing procurement activities across multiple APAC countries.
