Your job The Engineering Consultant role is responsible for supporting and delivering large-scale engineering and digital transformation programs for Accenture's clients. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, technology, and business transformation, with accountability for delivery excellence, client outcomes, and team collaboration. Consultants in this role are trusted client contributors who support complex delivery engagements, work within multi-disciplinary teams, ensure operational rigor, and drive measurable business value across engineering functions and supporting systems. You will support our clients across a broad range of industries to address their issues related to: Engineering transformations which optimize organization structure, engineering processes, and product lifecycle management systems Digitizing the Engineering function with technologies like Digital Thread / Twin, Robotic Process Automation, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence Product Strategies including Platform Ecosystems and Sustainable Products Innovation Management and Product Portfolio Optimization balancing voice of customer and cost to serve You will work closely with our clients and internal teams to: Deliver programs focused on engineering transformation, including engineering modernization and digital engineering enablement Spot, isolate, and solve engineering problems using your skills in: Advanced analytics -- Return on engineering investment, business case models Operating model architecture -- people, process, technology Support implementation of engineering systems and platforms (e.g., PLM, engineering data, digital thread, analytics, cloud-enabled engineering) Contribute to designing future-state engineering operating models, processes, and organizational structures Ensure alignment between engineering strategy, technology architecture, and execution realities You will contribute to client delivery and program execution: Support end-to-end delivery of complex engineering consulting programs, from initiation through execution and stabilization Contribute to delivery outcomes across scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders at various levels Translate client business and engineering objectives into executable delivery plans Help resolve delivery risks, dependencies, and issues in fast-paced, multi-vendor environments You will also, throughout your work, have opportunities to: Work within small (2-5) to large (20-40) sized teams, with diverse backgrounds, skills, and knowledge Collaborate with and learn from internal and external parties Support client sales origination and thought leadership development Support proposal development, estimates, and functional scope definition for new work Challenge legacy ways of working using constructive techniques that fuel client growth Contribute to delivery standards, methodologies, and assets within Engineering Consulting Support account growth through delivery excellence, client trust, and identification of follow-on opportunities Act as a role model for Accenture's values and delivery discipline Drive positive impact on the communities where we work and live Your team At Supply Chain & Engineering, we help clients deal with the great challenges of Industry Digitalization focus.
