The Supply Planner is responsible for managing the procurement of required SKUs from suppliers, including intercompany and third-party, to support AOS health, on-time delivery, and inventory targets. This involves overseeing third-party supplier management, including quarterly lead time assessments, supplier on-time delivery (OTD), and follow-ups on open purchase orders. They also partner with distribution centers to resolve inbound errors, coordinate with logistics to ensure timely product delivery to distribution centers, and update standard work procedures. This position reports to the Supply Planning Team Lead and is part of the Supply Planning Team located in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia and will be an on-site role. Working in AMER Time zone and following AMER Public Holidays. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Own the intercompany order portfolio from purchase requisition to purchase order, including order visibility, delivery-date alignment, quantity updates and disciplined follow-up across network plants. Drive supply continuity by reviewing shortages, allocation needs, material-flow constraints and past-due orders, then coordinating practical recovery plans and timely escalations. Improve delivery reliability by supporting intercompany on-time delivery, available-to-promise and customer on-time delivery performance, with clear action tracking for late or at-risk lines. Analyze SAP planning signals and execute corrective actions for exception messages, including messages 10, 15, 20 and 26, to improve planning accuracy and reduce recurring exceptions. Strengthen inventory and working-capital performance through inventory-health reviews, excess and obsolete reduction, stock balancing, scrapping support and IMAG make-to-order network improvement. Govern goods-in-transit aging, goods-receipt/invoice-receipt discrepancies, transaction blocks, delivery documentation and data-quality issues with plants, logistics, finance and accounts payable. Protect revenue and customer commitments by prioritizing critical orders, validating recovery dates, maintaining accurate SAP planning parameters and communicating fact-based status to stakeholders. The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations, business, engineering or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience. Multiple years of experience in supply planning, materials planning, procurement, production planning or intercompany order management within a manufacturing or distribution environment. Hands-on proficiency with SAP materials planning and purchasing transactions, including MRP exception management, purchase requisition-to-purchase order execution, order-date maintenance and inventory visibility. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and operational data analysis, including the ability to manage order portfolios, aging, backlog, inventory and delivery-performance reports. Experience coordinating supply, logistics or order-recovery actions across multiple functions, sites or regions in a professional business environment. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Intercompany supply planning across a global manufacturing network, including goods-in-transit, goods-receipt/invoice-receipt and cross-plant material-flow governance.
