Job Description SummaryThe VCP Program Manager will lead and drive strategic Variable Cost Productivity (VCP) programs across the PCS portofolio. A key focus of this position is to drive disciplined project execution, proactively identify and remove barriers, and ensure projects and key milestones are delivered on time with expected quality and business outcomes. The role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, and PMO office, to establish clear priorities, manage technical risks and dependencies, and drive timely decisions. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical leadership, execution rigor, and ownership, while continuously improving engineering efficiency, product quality, and team capability. Establish clear priorities, execution plans, deliverables, and ownership within the engineering team, and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and resource constraints. Lead hardware design and development activities throughout the lifecycle, including requirements alignment, solutions identification, design, integration, and release. Provide technical leadership and direction to engineering teams in solving complex program execution issues. Partner closely with program management and cross-functional teams to drive alignment, timely decision-making, issue resolution, and successful product delivery. Identify execution gaps and potential schedule risks early, develop mitigation and recovery plans, and drive actions to closure. Ensure designs meet product requirements for performance, reliability, quality, safety, serviceability, manufacturability, cost, and applicable regulatory requirements. Balance technical excellence with schedule, cost, resource, and business priorities to enable effective engineering decisions. Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes, development efficiency, design quality, and execution predictability. Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline. 8+ years experience in program/project management within a product development or engineering environment. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional programs from planning through product release. Proven ability to manage schedules, priorities, risks, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple functions. Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive execution in a complex environment. Preferred QualificationsExperience in medical devices, healthcare technology, or another regulated product-development environment. Experience managing complex hardware, embedded systems, or integrated hardware/software development programs. Familiarity with structured product development processes, including design controls, risk management, verification and validation, and product lifecycle management. Demonstrated track record of improving program execution and driving teams toward predictable, on-time delivery. Experience working with global and distributed cross-functional teams.
