Are you an experienced PMO professional who can bring structure, insight and strong governance to complex programmes? We’re building a talent pool of experienced PMO Managers for potential future opportunities within Capita Public Services. As a PMO Manager, you would establish and lead effective PMO services across areas including governance, integrated planning, reporting, RAID management, change control, resource management, budgets, benefits and delivery assurance. You would work closely with programme and project leaders, providing clear insight, constructive challenge and recommendations that support effective decision-making. What you'll be doing Lead and continuously improve PMO services across complex projects, programmes and portfolios, ensuring strong governance, control and delivery oversight. Partner with programme and project leadership teams, providing insight, challenge and recommendations to support effective decision-making. Develop and maintain integrated plans, tracking progress, dependencies, milestones and delivery risks across the programme lifecycle. Oversee governance, reporting, RAID management and change control, ensuring accurate and timely information is available to stakeholders. Drive effective budget, resource and benefits management, helping teams deliver against agreed objectives and priorities. Coach and support PMO colleagues while promoting best practice, continuous improvement and high-quality delivery standards. What we're looking for Proven experience leading or managing PMO functions within complex projects, programmes or portfolios. Strong understanding of governance, planning, reporting, risk management and delivery assurance frameworks. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, challenge and build relationships at all levels. Experience using structured delivery methodologies such as PRINCE2, MSP, Agile or equivalent. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and provide actionable insight. Experience leading, coaching or developing PMO teams and driving continuous improvement. Experience working within Central Government, the wider public sector, defence or other regulated environments would be advantageous.
