We’re expanding our Operations Development team at MOHP Västerås by adding Maintenance- and Facility Manager as new management position. This will consolidate resources and responsibilities into one new service unit, covering Mechanical-, Electrical- and Facility Maintenance. In this role, you’ll be challenged to shape the new Maintenance organization for optimal performance. You will lead a team of about 15 people (employees and on-site service contractors) who are experts in their field of work. Here, you’ll take full ownership of process uptime and service cost- bringing a Life-Cycle Cost and data driven decision-making focus. By making sure our maintenance planning- and execution processes fulfill the highest standards you will create a solid foundation for Operations success. You’ll also have an important impact as member of the Operations Development Management Team. To succeed in this role, you bring significant leadership experience in the field of industrial operations- and maintenance. You bring a mindset based around being proactive but also takes a step forward, acting effectively in situations that require immediate action taking and decision making. You will be located at our production site at Finnslätten, Västerås. Since you are a part of the Operations unit and have several direct reports, the basis for employment is on-site. You will be mainly accountable for: Lead the maintenance organization for optimized process uptime and service cost. Responsibility for upholding company organization, competence and authorization for electrical installation. Responsibility for maintenance procedures, routines and documentation. Incl. responsibility for maintenance equipment and service-related work areas. Following up maintenance supplier performance and service related KPI’s. Co-ordinating Facility service activities, performed under responsibility of ABB Real Estate. Responsibility for Fire safety management. Incl. hot work and storing flammable products. Qualifications: Several years of experience as a Maintenance Manager, or other leadership roles in manufacturing environment. Strong technical understanding of electrical installation work, including relevant regulations and compliance requirements. Proven experience with advanced maintenance systems, including both system implementation and hands-on application. Practical experience in developing and navigating service agreements, managing supplier performance and driving KPI-based performance management. A degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience, is considered an advantage. Strong ability to build high-performing teams and lead change in a technically complex environment, supported by excellent communication and coordination skills.
