Your Role: As Management Accounting Specialist (Sr. Accountant), you support in the areas of cost accounting and profitability analysis for one or more entities assigned and support local finance and controlling units in both areas. You support in managing maintenance and posting processes in cost accounting to provide an accurate and timely picture of the overhead cost situation as basis for controlling analysis and business decisions. You will also act as a mentor to junior accountants and a catalyst for continuous process improvement. Key Responsibilities: Cost Accounting, Profitability Analysis & Reporting Excellence Own and perform assigned management accounting activities across monthly, quarterly and annual close, ensuring accurate and timely completion in line with agreed closing calendar. Prepare, review and explain management accounting reports, cost-center reports and profitability analyses for local finance, controlling, ABP, CFO organizations and other internal customers. Ensure reconciliations, supporting schedules and reporting outputs are complete, consistent and ready for review. Execute and review cost accounting processes, including allocations, assessments, distributions Perform cycle profitability accounting activities, transaction flows and posting on reporting positions. Support the consistent application of global management accounting standards and guidelines across supported entities. Audit, Compliance & Risk Management Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors; prepare comprehensive audit schedules, pre-audit analyses, and resolve complex audit queries. Ensure all processes strictly adhere to internal controls (SOX/ICFR), Group accounting policies, and local statutory regulations. Process Optimization & Technology Driving Identify and implement opportunities for standardization, simplification, automation and workflow improvement to reduce manual effort and improve service quality. Support system changes, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), migrations and other initiatives as a Management Accounting subject-matter expert. Track relevant operational metrics and contribute ideas that improve close performance, data quality and stakeholder experience. Stakeholder Management & Escalation Resolution Act as a first point of escalation for complex management accounting questions, system issues and process exceptions within the assigned scope. Foster strong, consultative partnerships with cross-functional teams (ABP, General Ledger, Product Costing and Controlling) to ensure end-to-end process alignment. Leadership & Capability Building Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical support to junior MA accountants, fostering a culture of continuous learning. Develop and maintain up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training documentation. Who You Are: Bachelor’s degree holder in finance, accounting or any related field required At least 3 or more years of experience in accounting/finance with direct related experience with full-cycle cost accounting and profitability analysis Experience within a Shared Services Center preferred Experience with Cost Accounting and Profitability Accounting Experience with SAP CO-OM and CO-PA or and reporting tools Fluent English language skills required Willing to be based in BGC, Taguig Amenable to work on a mid-shift / night shift schedule (varying shifts every MEC and NONMEC) With automation experience (VBA, other automation tools) What we offer: We are curious minds that come from a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.
