Molex is seeking a Group Business Development Manager to lead the global Business Development organization within the Connected Mobility Solutions Business Unit (CMSBU) Networking segment. This leader will guide a team of Business Development Managers focused on accelerating profitable growth, diversifying our customer base, expanding into priority markets and regions, and positioning Molex to win in emerging vehicle architectures. The role connects customer and market insight with portfolio strategy and commercial execution. Working across Product Management, Sales, Engineering, Project Management, Operations, Finance, and Sourcing, this leader will translate future customer needs and technology trends into focused growth initiatives, strategic pursuits, and sustainable business results. What You Will Do Lead business growth and market development Lead Business Development Managers to own and execute the global business development strategy for the Networking segment in alignment with segment and business-unit priorities. Identify, assess, and prioritize high-value growth opportunities across automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, technology partners, and adjacent mobility markets. Build and manage a healthy opportunity pipeline, with clear priorities, milestones, ownership, and conversion plans. Develop coordinated pursuit strategies for strategic customers, platforms, and must-win opportunities. Drive customer and regional diversification by expanding Molex relationships in targeted accounts and markets. Create market-entry and account-development plans that connect customer needs with Molex capabilities and portfolio direction. Strengthen customer and industry engagement Build durable relationships with senior customer, partner, and industry stakeholders. Develop executive engagement plans that deepen customer intimacy and uncover future architecture, platform, and application opportunities. Synthesize voice-of-customer input, technology roadmaps, market trends, and competitive activity into actionable growth priorities. Represent Molex in strategic customer meetings, industry forums, ecosystem discussions, and other external engagements. Advance partnerships and ecosystem development Identify and cultivate partnerships that accelerate technology adoption, add capability, expand market access, or strengthen Molex competitive positioning. Build relationships across the automotive networking ecosystem, including semiconductor, software, system, and integration partners. Contribute commercial and market insight to partnership, licensing, investment, and acquisition evaluations. Use ecosystem engagement to validate product strategy, technology priorities, and long-term investment decisions. Drive cross-functional execution Partner with Product Management to connect market opportunities with portfolio strategy, product roadmaps, and investment priorities. Collaborate with Sales to develop account growth strategies, strengthen opportunity qualification, and improve conversion on strategic pursuits. Align Engineering, Project Management, Operations, Finance, Sourcing, and Commercial teams around compelling customer value propositions and executable business cases. Engage early in new-product and commercialization processes to improve market fit, customer validation, launch readiness, and adoption. Provide clear recommendations to segment leadership on growth opportunities, risks, priorities, and resource needs. Build a high-performing team Lead, coach, and develop a global team of Business Development Managers, setting clear priorities, decision rights, and performance expectations. Build capability through structured development, succession planning, knowledge sharing, and targeted talent acquisition. Establish consistent business development processes, operating rhythms, metrics, and best practices across regions. Create a culture of ownership, constructive challenge, collaboration, customer focus, and value creation consistent with Molex principles. Progressive experience in business development, product management, strategic marketing, sales leadership, or a related growth role. Demonstrated people-leadership experience, including coaching, development, prioritization, and accountability across a team. Experience developing and executing growth strategies in a complex, global, cross-functional environment. Ability to build executive-level customer relationships and influence without direct authority. Strong commercial judgment, structured problem-solving skills, and the ability to convert insight into action. Clear, concise communication skills and the ability to align stakeholders around shared priorities. What Will Put You Ahead MBA or advanced technical degree. Experience in automotive electronics, vehicle connectivity, high-speed data networking, or interconnect solutions. Understanding of Ethernet, zonal architectures, ADAS, infotainment, centralized compute, and vehicle communication systems. Global business development experience spanning North America, Europe, and Asia. Experience developing strategic partnerships or supporting licensing, investment, or acquisition activity. Experience translating market intelligence and customer roadmaps into portfolio priorities and investment cases. Strong financial acumen, including business-case development, profitability analysis, pricing, and value-based decision-making.
