This role will serve as a strategic leader for health informatics technology (HIT), electronic health record (EHR), digital health, and emerging technology and artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives, translating health-system needs and organizational priorities into scalable, technology-enabled solutions that improve care delivery and patient outcomes. The Product Director will work closely with cross-functional partners across Solutions, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Strategic Accounts, Health System/Integrated Account Teams, Real World Data & Evidence, Information Technology, Patient Services, Digital, and other functions to identify opportunities, develop solutions, activate capabilities with customer-facing teams, and measure impact. The role will also serve as a center of expertise for HIT and emerging technologies, building organizational capabilities and helping teams understand how EHRs, digital health, data, artificial intelligence, and other technologies can be appropriately leveraged to address health-system challenges. Join the team transforming care for people with immune challenges, rare diseases, cancers, and Specialty Care neurological conditions. In Specialty Care, you’ll help deliver breakthrough treatments that bring hope to patients with some of the highest unmet needs. About Sanofi We’re an R&D-driven, AI-powered biopharma company committed to improving people’s lives and delivering compelling growth. Our deep understanding of the immune system – and innovative pipeline – enables us to invent medicines and vaccines that treat and protect millions of people around the world. Together, we chase the miracles of science to improve people’s lives. Main Responsibilities HIT Strategy & Leadership Develop and lead an enterprise and/or portfolio-level Health Information Technology strategy, roadmap, and annual execution plan aligned with organizational and therapeutic-area priorities. Establish a clear vision for how HIT, EHRs, digital health, data, AI, and emerging technologies can support health-system/organized provider engagement and improve patient care. Identify evolving health-system/organized provider trends, technology capabilities, customer needs, and market dynamics that should inform technology strategy. Serve as the organization’s subject-matter expert and strategic advisor on health information technology, EHR capabilities, digital health, AI, and emerging technology. Build alignment among senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders regarding HIT priorities, investments, capabilities, and opportunities. Health-System & Customer Strategy Partner with health-system and integrated account teams to identify customer challenges that may be addressed through technology-enabled solutions. Develop approaches for understanding health-system clinical workflows, operational processes, data infrastructure, and technology environments. Translate customer needs into actionable HIT opportunities across the patient journey, including disease identification, diagnosis, referral, treatment initiation, care coordination, patient engagement, adherence, monitoring, and outcomes measurement. Support strategic engagement with health-system stakeholders including clinical leaders, population-health leaders, informatics teams, pharmacy leaders, quality leaders, CIOs, CMIOs, and other technology decision makers. Position the organization as a strategic partner capable of helping health systems address complex care-delivery challenges through appropriate technology-enabled solutions. EHR & Digital Health Solutions Lead the strategy and development of EHR-enabled and digital resources that support organizational and health-system objectives. Identify opportunities to leverage existing health-system technology infrastructure rather than creating unnecessary standalone solutions. Evaluate opportunities involving clinical decision support, patient identification, care-gap identification, clinical workflows, referral pathways, order sets, patient outreach, dashboards, reporting, population-health tools, and other EHR-enabled capabilities. Maintain an understanding of major EHR platforms and the evolving health IT ecosystem, including platforms such as Epic and Oracle Health/Cerner. Ensure solutions are designed with consideration for interoperability, workflow integration, scalability, usability, compliance, and measurable impact. Innovation & Emerging Technology Establish a structured test-learn-scale approach for identifying and evaluating innovative health tech and digital-health solutions. Evaluate emerging technologies—including artificial intelligence, automation, advanced analytics, digital health platforms, interoperability capabilities, and novel data solutions—for potential application to health-system and patient-care challenges. Lead pilots and proof-of-concept initiatives in collaboration with health systems, internal teams, and external technology partners. Establish criteria for determining when innovative solutions should be scaled, modified, or discontinued. Translate successful pilots and customer-specific solutions into repeatable and scalable organizational capabilities where appropriate. Foster responsible experimentation and calculated risk-taking while maintaining appropriate regulatory, legal, privacy, security, and compliance standards. Activation & Field Enablement Translate HIT strategy into actionable resources, tools, and engagement models for customer-facing teams. Partner with Account Management, Integrated Account Teams, Medical, and other customer-facing organizations to activate healthcare technology capabilities with priority health systems. Develop clear guidance regarding appropriate use of health tech resources and solutions during customer engagement. Lead training, rollout, and ongoing capability development for customer-facing teams. Develop health tech competency frameworks and provide ongoing education on EHRs, health-system technology, digital health, data, AI, and emerging technologies. Participate in strategic account planning and customer preparation when technology expertise is required. Cross-Functional Leadership Serve as the central connector across functions involved in organized provider technology strategy and execution, including Marketing, Medical Affairs, Information Technology, Real World Evidence, Patient Services, Strategic Accounts, Legal, Regulatory, Privacy, and Compliance. Lead cross-functional teams from opportunity identification through solution development, approval, activation, implementation, and measurement. Translate complex technical concepts into clear business and clinical strategies for nontechnical stakeholders. Ensure technology initiatives complement broader brand, portfolio, medical, access, and health-system strategies while addressing legitimate customer needs. Influence across a matrixed organization to establish priorities and drive execution without direct authority. External Partnerships & Vendor Management Identify and manage strategic partnerships with HIT vendors, EHR ecosystem partners, digital-health companies, agencies, and other external organizations. Evaluate potential technology partners based on strategic fit, capabilities, scalability, interoperability, compliance, and ability to address identified customer needs. Lead vendor strategy, contracting collaboration, performance management, and associated budget management. Maintain awareness of emerging companies, technologies, and partnerships a
