We Are: Accenture’s Supply Chain & Operations practice, and we move at the speed of transformation. Our clients—Fortune 500 leaders in retail, e-commerce, consumer goods, grocery, and industrial manufacturing—depend on us to design and deliver next-generation distribution networks that are faster, smarter, and more resilient. From greenfield DC launches and large-scale WMS implementations to complex, multi-vendor warehouse automation deployments, our Warehousing & Distribution Engineering team combines deep functional expertise, proven program leadership, and the full power of Accenture’s global ecosystem to fundamentally change how goods move from facility to customer. We deliver outcomes that last—and we are looking for leaders who do the same. You Are: A seasoned program leader who has built a career delivering the hardest distribution center transformations—on schedule, on budget, and with lasting operational impact. You bring deep, hands-on expertise in Warehouse Management Systems, with Manhattan Active® WM at the center of your experience, and you know how to architect, configure, integrate, and cut over complex WMS solutions in live, high-volume operating environments. You understand the full automation ecosystem—AS/RS, goods-to-person, conveyor and sortation, autonomous mobile robots, pick-to-light and voice, and the WES/WCS layer that ties it all together—and you have successfully integrated these systems into large programs involving multiple vendors, contractors, and client teams. You are a trusted advisor to COOs and senior supply chain executives: a clear and confident communicator who keeps complex programs moving through ambiguity, and a leader who raises the bar for everyone around you. The work energizes you—and you are ready to be where it happens, 60 to 80 percent of the time. The Work: Lead end-to-end distribution center transformation programs—new DC launches, WMS implementations, and warehouse automation deployments—from strategy and business case development through design, build, testing, go-live, and hypercare stabilization. Serve as the delivery executive and senior program leader across one or more engagements and multiple concurrent workstreams (WMS, automation/MHE, facilities, IT integration, labor and operations readiness). Own client satisfaction, delivery quality, and overall program financial performance while orchestrating systems integrators, automation OEMs, general contractors, IT vendors, and client operational teams throughout the program lifecycle. Own the full WMS solution lifecycle for Manhattan Active® WM engagements—requirements definition, solution design, configuration, integration architecture, testing strategy, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization—applying equivalent depth across Blue Yonder Luminate, SAP EWM, or other platforms where required. Direct the integration of automation solutions (AS/RS, goods-to-person, conveyor/sortation, autonomous mobile robots, pick-to-light/voice) with WMS and warehouse control/execution systems (WCS/WES), ensuring solution designs reflect realistic throughput targets, labor models, and facility constraints. Build and govern integrated program plans, risk registers, budgets, and RAID logs across design, build, test, and deployment phases; lead issue resolution, change control, and executive escalation management across client and partner organizations. Lead new distribution center launch readiness—operational design, slotting, labor standards, SOPs, training programs, and cutover/hypercare execution—in close partnership with client operations leadership and frontline management. Build and maintain trusted relationships with client CSCO, VP-level supply chain and distribution leaders, and project sponsors; deliver program status, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations at the executive level with clarity and confidence. Develop and mentor project managers, functional leads, and solution architects, building WMS delivery and large-program management capability within the Supply Chain & Operations practice. Contribute to Accenture’s business development efforts—proposal writing, RFP responses, client presentations, and account expansion—and to practice-building initiatives including methodology development, delivery accelerators, and thought leadership. Champion client commitments around sustainability, workforce development, and community impact as an integrated dimension of program delivery. Travel Requirements: This role requires 60–80% travel, primarily to client distribution center and project sites across the United States and potentially internationally. Travel is aligned with active project needs and current health and safety guidelines. Here’s What You Need: Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in supply chain, distribution center operations, or technology delivery, including at least 8 years leading large-scale WMS implementations, distribution center automation programs, or major facility transformations. Minimum 8 years' experience hands-on WMS solution expertise—Manhattan Active® WM strongly preferred—spanning solution design, configuration, integration, testing, and cutover, together with demonstrated experience integrating automation and material handling solutions such as AS/RS, goods-to-person systems, conveyor/sortation, AMRs, and robotic picking with WMS, WES, and WCS platforms. Proven ability to serve as the accountable program leader for large, multi-workstream distribution center programs involving multiple vendors, contractors, and client stakeholders, with ownership of budget, schedule, scope, risk, operational readiness, labor ramp, process documentation, and cutover execution. Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If associate degree, must have a minimum of 6 years’ work experience) Bonus Points If: You hold Manhattan Active® WM certification or formal platform training credentials from Manhattan Associates. You hold a PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or comparable program management certification. Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of advising C-suite and VP-level client leaders on program status, risk, strategic direction, and critical delivery decisions. You have led simultaneous programs involving multiple automation OEMs or robotics providers across a single facility or DC network. You have hands-on experience with Blue Yonder Luminate Warehouse Management, SAP EWM, or other enterprise WMS/WES platforms in addition to Manhattan Active® WM. You bring Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt or Green Belt) or other operational excellence certifications. You have consulting experience delivering supply chain technology transformations for Fortune 500 clients across retail, e-commerce, grocery, consumer goods, or industrial/manufacturing. You have earned an MBA or an advanced degree in a related discipline. You have experience with AI-enabled warehouse operations, lab
