Role Summary The Marketing & Strategy Intern will be embedded within the Cardiovascular Platform marketing and strategy team, supporting two priority workstreams: evaluating adjacent market opportunities and advancing voice-of-customer research that informs product and commercial strategy. This is a high-visibility opportunity for a student who wants hands-on exposure to strategic marketing, market sizing, and customer insight work within a global medical technology company, with meaningful opportunity to apply AI tools to real business problems. Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities Support Cardiovascular Adjacency Research Complete opportunity and business cases for key adjacent markets, including market sizing, competitive landscape assessment, and evaluation of unmet clinical needs Conduct primary and secondary research (industry reports, clinical literature, competitor intelligence) to validate assumptions underlying adjacency opportunities Provide preliminary recommendations on BMT strategy and tactics for growing in these markets, including go-to-market considerations, pricing, and positioning Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Marketing, R&D, Sales, and Regulatory) to stress-test opportunity assessments and ensure recommendations are grounded in commercial and technical feasibility Leverage AI tools to develop and maintain a project dashboard that tracks adjacency initiatives, key milestones, and decision points for leadership visibility Synthesize research findings into clear, executive-ready presentations and supporting business case materials Support Voice-of-Customer Research Support design of ongoing market research projects (qualitative and quantitative customer studies), including survey design, discussion guide development, and respondent screening criteria Assist in project management of VoC projects to ensure internal deadlines are met, coordinating with external research vendors and internal stakeholders as needed Help analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify key themes, customer pain points, and opportunities for product or service improvement Leverage AI tools to support internal, cross-functional dissemination of key findings, including summarization, synthesis, and development of insight repositories Support the translation of customer insights into actionable recommendations for marketing, product development, and commercial teams Required Qualifications & Experience Currently pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Marketing, Business, or related field required; rising junior or senior preferred Experience with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar) for research, analysis, or content synthesis Experience in data analysis/analytics, including working with Excel, PowerPoint, and/or data visualization tools Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise recommendations Demonstrated interest in healthcare, medical technology, or the life sciences industry a plus Leadership Capabilities Creative Problem-Solving Demonstrated ability to think critically about business challenges, identify data and inputs needed to inform decisions, assess obstacles from multiple angles, and provide clear business recommendations. Cross-Functional Influence Exceptional ability to build alignment and drive results across matrixed teams without relying solely on organizational authority, by building trust, communicating clearly, and understanding the priorities of different functional partners across Marketing, R&D, Sales, and Regulatory. Resilience & Agility Ability to navigate ambiguity, lead through change, manage competing priorities, and maintain focus on strategic outcomes in dynamic environments, while remaining open to feedback and iterating quickly as priorities shift. Location Internship will be onsite in the Eden Prairie office Duration & Hours Full-time (40 hours/week) during summer 2027 Compensation & Total Rewards: Estimated Pay Range: Undergraduate students - $23.00 – $25.00/hour *Estimated Starting Pay Range is reflective of the range Bracco Medical Technologies reasonably expects to pay for the position.
