The Role: This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a strategic, curious, and hands-on analytics leader who wants to shape how commercial decisions are made. The Manager, Global Services Customer Insights & Analytics will lead an end-to-end capability that transforms complex customer, sales, pricing, contract, market, and operational data into clear, actionable insights for MedTech and other business sectors. You will define the capability’s strategic direction, operating model, governance, roadmap, and talent agenda. Working closely with MedTech Commercial, Finance, Data & AI, IT, and Global Services leaders, you will identify high-value opportunities and translate/collaborate with different business stakeholders. Your work will directly support business competitive advantage/growth, customer acquisition, pricing and contract decisions, operational execution, and productivity. You will guide a multidisciplinary team, expand the reach of these capability, accelerate data mining and insights while strengthening collaboration with our business partners. What You Will Do: Capability and Team Leadership:Set the strategic direction, operating model, and roadmap for the GS Customer Insights & Analytics capability in alignment with business and Global Services priorities. Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team across analytics, business intelligence, automation, and data operations, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Oversee workforce planning, capacity management, hiring, onboarding, performance management, succession planning, and capability development to ensure the team has the skills and resources required to meet evolving business needs. Establish sustainable knowledge-management, cross-training, and transition practices that promote operational resilience and service continuity. Strategy, Portfolio, and Product Management:Translate business challenges into clearly defined analytical requirements, solution roadmaps, success measures, resource plans, and implementation approaches. Prioritize demand based on strategic alignment, customer value, business impact, risk, effort, scalability, and available capacity. Establish project and product governance, including milestones, decision rights, risks, dependencies, testing, go-live readiness, and post-implementation review. Manage leadership reporting and partner collaboration to build trust and support across different sector support. Commercial Analytics and Actionable Insights:Lead the data operation building analysis of customer, sales, pricing, contract, product, market, supply, inventory, and operational data to create trusted and decision-ready commercial insights. Develop analytics that support customer’s competitive advantage. Translate complex findings into clear insights, recommendations, and executive narratives that enable evidence-based decisions to our commercial partners. Establish and validate analytical methodologies, business rules, assumptions, and controls to ensure outputs are accurate, explainable, reproducible, and aligned with subject-matter expertise. Stakeholder Partnership and Capability Expansion:Serve as a strategic partner to Commercial, Finance, Sales, Contract Management, Offer Development, Supply Chain, Digital, Data & AI, IT, and Global Services stakeholders. Lead discovery sessions, requirements gathering, design reviews, and value-realization discussions to align priorities and drive adoption. Manage stakeholder expectations, resolve cross-functional issues, communicate risks and trade-offs, and build confidence in the team’s data, methods, and solutions. Identify opportunities to expand Customer Insights & Analytics across additional businesses, regions, customer segments, and commercial use cases through scalable service offerings and reusable solutions. Business Value and Performance Management:Define and monitor KPIs covering revenue enabled, sales growth, stakeholder adoption, productivity, data quality, service performance, and other business outcomes. Develop transparent and defensible methodologies for measuring the commercial and operational value enabled by analytics and automation solutions. Partner with Finance, Commercial, and subject-matter experts to validate assumptions, calculations, and value attribution. Prepare and present reports on progress, insights gained, and the overall impact of the project on customer experiences and business outcomes. What You Will Bring: A bachelor’s degree in data science, business analytics, information systems, engineering, finance, or a related discipline; an advanced degree or relevant professional certification is an advantage. Demonstrated experience leading analytics, business intelligence, automation, or data-transformation initiatives, including the delivery of measurable business outcomes. Experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams, managing priorities, and building an inclusive culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning. Strong commercial and business acumen; experience in MedTech, healthcare, life sciences, or another complex, highly regulated industry is preferred. A track record of translating ambiguous business challenges and complex data into clear insights, practical recommendations, and scalable solutions. Strong stakeholder-management and executive-communication skills, with the ability to influence across business, finance, data, and technology teams. Working knowledge of data visualization, advanced analytics, automation, data governance, and modern data platforms; familiarity with AI-enabled solutions is an advantage.
