The team The FIX Onboarding team plays a key role in connecting institutional clients to global markets through LSEG's multi-asset electronic trading platforms, including LSEG TORA and REDI on Workspace OEMS. Combining technical expertise with a customer-focused approach, we deliver reliable FIX onboarding services and build trusted connections that support long-term client success. Role Summary We are looking for a Senior FIX Onboarding Analyst to join our team in Cluj! You will lead sophisticated trading connectivity implementations, applying your knowledge of FIX, electronic trading workflows, and financial markets to deliver effective client solutions. Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will handle stakeholders, address technical challenges, drive process improvements, and support the development of colleagues. Key Responsibilities Gather and analyze business and technical requirements, translating client trading and connectivity needs into scalable FIX solutions, across multiple asset classes (including equities, futures, options, foreign exchange, fixed income). Deliver end-to-end FIX onboarding and connectivity projects, coordinating with clients, brokers, and vendors to configure, test, certify, and deploy FIX order routing and execution workflows Lead critical initiatives including session migrations, platform upgrades, broker algorithm implementation, and connectivity improvements Collaborate daily with regional FIX teams and cross-functional partners, including Professional Services, Account Management, Sales, Product, Support, and Engineering, to identify and deliver effective solutions Serve as the FIX domain expert for clients and internal teams, providing technical guidance, resolving onboarding issues, and supporting complex post-production FIX incidents (L3) Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, standardization, knowledge exchange, and the adoption of automation and AI-enabled tools Qualifications and Experience: Required Qualifications Solid understanding of FIX Protocol (FIX 4.2 /FIX 4.4.) Experience working in financial services industry and electronic trading environments, ( eg sell-side, buy-side, OMS/EMS provider, technology or FIX vendor or similar firms) Experience onboarding clients and/or brokers, including FIX conformance and certification testing Familiarity with networking and connectivity concepts such as TCP/IP, VPNs, extranet connectivity Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical partners Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to balance multiple initiatives, adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently with minimal guidance while collaborating effectively across globally distributed teams Good understanding of Unix or Linux-based operating systems Preferred Qualifications 4+ years experience in FIX onboarding, technical implementation, electronic trading support or a related field Solid grasp of equities and derivatives trading workflows, including futures and options Knowledge of XML, including ATDL development and testing Knowledge of relational databases and SQL Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Salesforce, or similar tools Scripting or programming skills (e.g. Python, Shell, Java) Experience delivering automation and process improvement initiatives What Will Help You Succeed Attention to detail combined with a practical, goal-oriented approach A customer-focused approach and dedication to delivering outstanding service Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams, functions and regions Curiosity, initiative and continuous improvement mentality Career Stage: Senior Associate London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) Information: Join us and be part of a team that values innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
