Job Details / Role Purpose: The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely invoicing of services provided to Business Partners, effective collection of outstanding receivables, and administration of commission settlement activities. The role serves as a key liaison between Finance and Business Partners, ensuring operational excellence, data accuracy, compliance, and efficient financial processes across the end-to-end Accounts Receivable lifecycle. In addition, the role supports Allianz Partners' digital transformation agenda by leveraging technology, automation, and AI-enabled tools to drive process efficiencies, improve data quality, and enhance stakeholder experience. Key Responsibilities: Invoicing Communicate and coordinate with Business Partners regarding invoicing-related activities and queries. Prepare, validate, and issue billing files and invoices in accordance with contractual agreements. Manage and resolve invoicing-related requests from internal and external stakeholders. Ensure invoices are processed accurately and within agreed timelines. Maintain high standards of data quality and billing accuracy. Collections & Cash Allocation Monitor outstanding receivables and proactively follow up on overdue payments. Perform cash allocation and reconciliation of incoming payments against open invoices. Coordinate with Business Partners to ensure timely receipt of payments and resolution of discrepancies. Notify Business Partners regarding overdue balances and support collection activities. Maintain accurate records of collection actions and payment statuses. Commission Administration Calculate and process commissions for Business Partners and brokers in line with contractual agreements. Prepare and distribute commission reports. Investigate and resolve commission-related queries. Monitor commission payments to ensure accuracy, transparency, and timely settlement. Rebilling & Cost Allocation Process rebilling of costs, including General Expenses, Administrative Costs, Quota Share arrangements, and other recharge activities. Ensure accurate cost allocation and transparency of recharge calculations. Reconcile rebilling transactions and investigate any variances. Support reporting and audit requirements related to recharge processes. Stakeholder Management Build and maintain strong working relationships with Business Partners and internal stakeholders. Collaborate effectively across Finance, Operations, HR, and other functional teams. Provide professional and timely customer service to stakeholders. Support issue resolution through effective communication and partnership. Continuous Improvement & Digital Enablement Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and operational efficiency. Participate in process transformation and standardization initiatives. Support automation and digitization projects within the Finance function. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. AI Readiness & Digital Innovation Utilize AI-enabled tools and digital solutions to enhance productivity, accuracy, and decision-making. Leverage data analytics and technology to identify trends, risks, and process improvement opportunities. Support intelligent automation initiatives across invoicing, collections, reconciliation, and reporting activities. Ensure data integrity and governance standards required for AI-driven processes and analytics. Demonstrate adaptability to emerging technologies and digital ways of working. Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and process optimization. Profile Key Requirements Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline. 3-5 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, Invoicing, Collections, Finance Operations, or Shared Services environments. Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or similar). Previous experience within the insurance industry is preferred. Strong understanding of financial processes, reconciliation, and accounting principles. Technical Skills Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable, invoicing, cash allocation, and collection processes. Experience with ERP and financial ledger systems. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools. Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Power BI, or similar digital solutions. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data. Experience working in a digitally enabled or shared services environment is an advantage. Communication & Stakeholder Management Strong verbal and written communication skills.
