The Markets Analyst is a role within the larger CIB Markets group that will assist with sales daily activities. This role will interact across different areas of the markets business to gain experience and assist with the day-to-day functions of the business. This person should expect to collaborate with different areas SCIB as a whole. The role will include, but will not be limited to, the following responsibilities: Providing comprehensive support to the Sales team in daily commercial activities, contributing to the development of client relationships, identification of new business opportunities, and overall revenue generation. Developing a deep understanding of fixed income and foreign exchange products across emerging and developed markets Participating in client coverage activities, including responding to pricing inquiries, assisting in transaction execution, monitoring trade activity, and ensuring timely follow-up on client requests. Coordinating and participating in client meetings, investor roadshows, and other commercial initiatives, including agenda preparation, meeting logistics, follow-up activities, and tracking potential business opportunities. Overseeing the accurate and timely booking of transactions, reviewing trade confirmations, monitoring daily P&L, and identifying potential discrepancies to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory procedures and controls. Monitoring transactions throughout their lifecycle, including reconciliation, clearing, and settlement processes, ensuring operational efficiency and the timely resolution of outstanding issues. Identifying opportunities to streamline recurring workflows and contributing to the development and implementation of automated solutions aimed at improving efficiency, reducing manual intervention, and minimizing operational risk. Education: Bachelor’s Degree: in related field or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education - Required Qualifications: Highly motivated, proactive, and results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic, a willingness to take initiative, and a genuine drive to succeed in a fast-paced Sales & Trading environment. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure trading environment where timely decision-making, accuracy, and responsiveness are essential. Keen attention to detail with a proven ability to multitask. Ability to adapt quickly to changing market conditions and business priorities, managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and effectively prioritize competing deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Demonstrated interest in global financial markets, with an eagerness to develop a deeper understanding of financial products, market dynamics, macroeconomic trends, and trading strategies. Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and build strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. Relevant experience in Sales & Trading, financial markets, investment banking, or a related financial services role, is preferred. Certifications: No Certifications listed for this job. What Else You Need To Know: The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
