Job Category Customer Success Job Details About Salesforce Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all. Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce. Salesforce Professional Services focuses on delivering strategic engagements that define transformational opportunities and articulate clear plans for execution of change programs. We rely on our team’s expertise and specialisms to engage with executive-level customers to agree on specific business goals and actions to ignite the full value of Salesforce. Our approach considers people, process, and technology — and a successful engagement includes recommendations to the business for change to support deeper, more relevant use of the Salesforce platform. OVERVIEW OF THE ROLESalesforce is currently seeking hands-on Technical Architects to join our Professional Services team within the Customer Success Group (CSG). The Technical Architect leads the technical implementation of complex, enterprise-grade solutions. They serve as active "Core Platform" practitioners, using their deep Salesforce Core (Sales/Service Cloud + Platform) expertise, coding proficiency, and enterprise integration knowledge to build robust architectures across the broader Salesforce product set. Technical Architects are strong technical communicators and builders who are able to paint a clear technical vision and lead the execution from the ground up. They are responsible for ensuring the platform is secure, highly performant, and technically ready for enterprise AI usage. On a day-to-day basis, they interact with solution architects, developers, and project managers in agile frameworks to translate business needs into technical reality—effectively designing, testing, and deploying complex code and integration patterns. Technical Architects are stewards of technical excellence. They engage with engineering, product teams, and stakeholders to ensure the technical solutions drive the most effective achievement of value objectives. They also contribute to internal thought leadership by defining coding standards (Apex, LWC, Flows) and environment management best practices. YOUR IMPACTPartner with and advise Executive Customer stakeholders while aligning underlying technology strategy to business value and ROI. Design and guide the customer's scalable technical architecture across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and the Platform, highlighting the importance of data models, sharing/security architecture, and governance. Identify and proactively run risk areas, troubleshoot key customer implementation issues, and commit to seeing technical roadblocks through to complete resolution. Lead and collaborate on the creation of application and technical design documents to keep programs on track and ensure solutions remain extendable and maintainable going forward. Provide guidance on integration development best practices, Enterprise Architecture standards, and environment management, including leading code reviews. Work collaboratively and demonstrate strong communication skills, especially when teaching sophisticated technical concepts to both developers and non-technical business leaders. Identify and lead internal pivotal initiatives to grow the technical practice; serve as an active contributor to the community’s overall technical knowledge base. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSHands-on technical consulting and solution implementation experience for a major software domain (e.g., CRM, ERP, HR), as well as coding experience in object-oriented languages. Experience defining the technical system architecture landscape, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and designing a comprehensive solution (including multi-org/landscape strategies and governor limits). Ability to clearly document technical solutions based on client requirements, mapping business processes into system diagrams, data flows, and technical artifacts. Knowledge of API patterns (REST/SOAP/Bulk/Platform Events) and experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems (ETL, middleware, legacy CRM). Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal; able to effectively develop technical materials and articulate a rationale that is appropriate for the audience. Detailed individual with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new coding concepts, platform capabilities, and AI technologies. Available to travel regionally and occasionally internationally depending on customer needs. Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core competencies for the role (e.g., extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS5+ years of direct experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, and the broader Lightning Platform. Relevant technical certifications: Application/System Architect credentials highly regarded and 6+ Core certifications preferred. (Agentforce Specialist & Data 360 certifications are a plus). Experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks (such as SAFE), and collaborating with strategic delivery teams. Familiarity with adjacent clouds (Experience Cloud, MuleSoft, Data 360) and platform-native automation/AI tooling. Unleash Your Potential When you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life. Our benefits and resources support you to find balance and be your best, and our AI agents accelerate your impact so you can do your best.
