Job Description: Essential Job Functions: 4+ year of experience in Mainframe Application development and Maintenance. Strong experience on resolving production issues for LIFECOMM/L70 and related interface system Experience on Assembler, COBOL, CICS, MVS /JCL, VSAM, Easytrieve, DB2, TSO/ISPF Awareness and hands-on experience with Generative AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Amazon Q, or similar tools for code analysis, debugging, documentation, code conversion, and development productivity. Candidates should demonstrate an interest in applying AI to modernize and improve Mainframe applications. Must have expertise in life Insurance/ Annuity domain. Experienced in end to end development & testing model Create technical Specification document & Conduct technical walkthrough with various stakeholders and obtain required sign offs Unit test plan, planning and execution Support for Program management activities including regular status reporting and escalation of challenges/ risks on timely basis Must have excellent Communication Skills Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience Typically, 4+ years of relevant work experience in industry Proficiency in coding and debugging complex software components Familiarity with software development practices and methodologies Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Effective communication and teamwork abilities Eagerness to learn and adapt to challenging technical tasks Other Qualifications: Advanced degree in a related field is a plus Relevant certifications or training a plus At DXC Technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success.
