Your Job Anchor Packaging, a Georgia Pacific company, is looking for individuals to join their dynamic team as a Quality Coordinator II at the Marmaduke, AR facility. The Quality Coordinator II is responsible for ensuring the quality, safety, and conformance of PVC blown-film products manufactured at the Marmaduke facility through line audits, roll inspections, testing, data analysis, and control of nonconforming material. In addition to performing the same essential duties as Quality Coordinator II, this role must demonstrate advanced knowledge of the blown-film process and the ability to recognize, evaluate, and communicate defects such as wrinkles, haze or poor clarity, gauge variation, edge hang, gels, incorrect width, inadequate cling, contamination, holes, blocking, and roll or winding defects. The role provides advanced analysis, reports findings to key stakeholders, supports product disposition decisions, and trains new quality personnel with minimal oversight. Pay: $21.00 to $23.60 Shifts Available: Monday-Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm What You Will Do Conduct routine line audits and inspect film, rolls, packaging, labels, and traceability information against current specifications, drawings, work instructions, and approved standards Recognize and evaluate Marmaduke blown-film defects, including wrinkles, haze or poor clarity, gauge variation, edge hang, gels, incorrect width, inadequate cling, contamination, holes, blocking, telescoping, loose or uneven winding, damaged roll edges, and other appearance or functional defect Perform required film-weight, gauge, width, cling, appearance, and roll-condition checks using approved methods and calibrated or verified equipment. Confirm results when a product is suspected to be out of specification Identify affected production from the last documented acceptable check, place suspect rolls or inventory on hold, maintain traceability, coordinate inspection or sorting, and recommend release, rework, grinding, or disposal based on documented criteria and approval requirements Work with operators, Production, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Quality leadership to relate defect patterns to blown-film process conditions, raw-material or regrind variation, extrusion settings, cooling, winding, handling, and packaging Create and maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) records and databases for film weight, gauge, width, cling, defect trends, holds, and other critical quality characteristics. Use the data to identify recurring variation and support corrective action Prepare clear written and verbal summaries of audit findings, defect conditions, held inventory, investigations, corrective actions, and product status. Escalate contamination, foreign material, traceability, food-safety, or customer-risk concerns immediately Accurately document inspection results and hold, quarantine, release, or disposition activity in the applicable quality and inventory systems so product status remains current and controlled Train and coach new auditors, coordinators, and other quality personnel on the Marmaduke blown-film process, product specifications, inspection methods, defect recognition, escalation expectations, and nonconforming-product controls Frequent travel between the three locations, Marmaduke, Jonesboro and Paragould utilizing personal vehicle Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Six months or more of quality experience Valid Driver's License Experience identifying defects in products What Will Put You Ahead Experience with blown-film extrusion SPC trained Experience performing precision measurements utilizing micrometers, tape measure and dial calipers At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
