Responsibilities: Independent familiarization with Li-ion battery cells and their physical properties Research on the current state of the art Development of a parametric thermal model for battery cells Enhancement of the model into an AI-based surrogate model for large-scale simulations Analysis and visualization of measurement data for parameter generation and validation Cross-departmental project coordination and communication Qualifications: Enrolled Student in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering Basic knowledge of Li-ion batteries ideally experience with FEM simulations, e.g. COMSOL Independent, structured, and goal-oriented working style Strong MS Office skills Analytical and organizational abilities Excellent communication skills High level of initiative, motivation, and team spirit ‎ ‎ The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
